Why is Pedro Aabdar an important character to understand the canon universe of Detroit Become Human..?
Asides of being a sort of “friend” to Hank, Pedro Aabdar is maybe the only character that has a cybernetic/prosthetic part on his body.
While we see Carl being in a fancy wheelchair (that isn’t that weird), Pedro has 2 missing fingers on his right hand, and a device attach to his arm/hand acting as “his fingers”. - If we take this little detail, and what we know about Pedro (that provably lost his fingers on some illegal activity like gambling), we gather that since he is from a somewhat “poor neighborhood” he might not have the best cybernetic equipment when it comes to his prosthetics, but we do know that in the canon universe of DBH “this is a thing”.
To what extent (and condition) a body part from a human can be replaced, it’s unknown. But we do know is possible. I’m assuming someone like (let’s say) Elijah Kamski, will be able to replace either an entire hand or an arm depending on the patient (at very least, if not an entire body even). - He was friend with Carl, and after the car crash that led him (Carl) on a wheelchair, Kamski either “didn’t want to” or could not “replace” Carl’s legs with working units (witch strikes me as odd, we are on a future where we have sentient androids that look exactly like humans so I’m not buying the fact that they can’t make an advance prosthetic for legs given also the fact that Carl was quite rich so money wouldn’t have being a problem neither).
I don’t think this goes all the way up to “DeuxEx Human Revolution” kinda’ “enhancements”, but surely there is a lot more to this that we see in game.

Do you think some human character might need a “replacement part” in the future? Or if humanity never trust on androids again will this enhancements be a thing just like in “Deux Ex” saga?
