It was a sunny day, clear skies and the sun shining with a cool spring breeze. Connor and y/n were watching Sumo run around the park playing with dogs while they rested on a picnic mat under the shade of a tree. Y/n lying in Connor’s lap while he stroked their hair and watched as their furry friend play with his new found friends. Connor would occasionally look down at his significant other, making sure they weren’t feeling bored. Occasionally, he would catch them staring, making him smile and gift them with a kiss on the nose.
“You have a pretty face.” Connor looked down in surprise to see y/n once again staring at him with an expression that could only be explained as adoration. “You look pretty from any angle, Cyberlife did an amazing job making you.” They smiled at him moved to sit up and face him. They cupped his face in their hands and admired his features as if he was an angel sent from high above. Connor melted into their hands and moved his head slightly to kiss the palm of their hand. Y/n then gently kissed him with a smile, the surrounding area seeming to slow down until the two are sent down by a sudden force.
“I sent you two here to care for my dog, not make out like some lovesick fools.” Hank walked up to the two with his tired dad face and pried Sumo off of them. Connor and Y/n got up, Connor with an embarrassed look and y/n laughing about the silliness of the situation. Hank sighed at them and decided not to bother them any further, because despite him scolding them, even he couldn’t help but find their relationship to be exactly like some cliché movie.
Kara

It was a lovely day to go to the park, so that’s exactly what Kara, Alice and Y/n did. They were playing Sandman and Kara was currently ‘it’. She was climbing up the rope ladder with struggle as she had her eyes closes, Kara could hear the two giggling at the silly looking sight as she once again slipped through one of the holes. She finally made her way up and could hear footsteps in both directions, deciding to go for what she assumed was Alice, she made her way in that direction. She could hear a giggle followed by a squeal as she made her way closer to Alice, she heard her dash to the slide and her sliding down.
“Sandman!” Kara yelled with such confidence but as she heard the two laugh she knew that she lost. She opened her eyes to see Alice sitting at the end of the slide while y/n was sitting on the monkey bars on the opposite end of the park. Kara smiled at their laughter and sighed in mock defeat. “Alright, you two win, we are watching Scooby Doo tonight.” She hopped off the playground, helping Alice off the slide before looking at her lover.
“Are we going home now?” Alice looked up at Kara with a dog eyes and she almost gave into the adorable show. She pushed Alice’s hair out of her face and kissed her forehead.
“Its almost evening, we gotta get you all cleaned up so we can put on your show and get you to bed.” Kara smiled gently at her and looked at y/n who was now standing beside her. She took their hand as Alice skipped her way to the sidewalk, humming some tune. Y/n kissed her gently before pulling her to catch up to their daughter, and at this moment, Kara knew she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Markus looked at the item intently, pondering if he should buy it or not. It is something his lover, y/n, has wanted for a while and anyone who knew Markus knew that he loved spoiling them so in the end, he did in fact buy it. As he exited the store with the bag containing the item, he thought of how happy they’d be when he gifted it to them. He walked to the bus stop and while he waited for the bus to arrive, all that was on his mind was them.
Markus entered his shared home with y/n, taking his shoes off at the door and looking around for them. He was going to check the bedroom but his thought process was interrupted by the smell of their favourite dish clogging up his scent. He walked into the kitchen to see his lover cooking up the dish, humming along to the tunes playing on the speaker on the bench. He smiled and wrapped his arms around their waist and gently kissed their neck, he heard them chuckle, proceeded by them turning around to face him.
“Hello handsome,” They smiled and kissed him before pulling back. “Dinner is almost ready, would you mind setting up the table for me?” They turned back around to make sure the food wasn’t starting to burn and stick to the pan. Markus kissed their cheek before going to do the task that they requested of him. only minutes after he completed the table, y/n brought the food to the table and after serving them both, y/n sat down and smiled. “Dinner is ready.”
“Before we start eating, I got you something.” Markus grabbed the bag and gave it to them, watching as their eyes lit up in excitement as they opened it up. They thanked him with a kiss before the two started eating their dinner.
Markus couldn’t help but fall in love again with the person sitting in front of him.
Gavin got his nose scar from being so nervous for his DPD interview that he tripped on nothing and broke his nose on Hank's desk and they had to call an ambulance. Ofc he tried to say he was gucci and to just do the interview with his face covered in blood. They hired him afterwards anyway.

Connor isn’t allowed to start where he left off with the DPD, and while Fowler accepts that he doesn’t really need training per say, he does make Connor shadow officers for a few months and do some front line work to get experience
Connor is allowed exactly five (5) fish, because any more than that and “you’ll be making the house into a goddamn aquarium”
One of the first gifts Connor ever receives is a little castle for the fish tank that Hank names Spamalot
Connor likes some heavy metal, but not all. There’s no particular sound/group that he goes for, it’s just random.
When he puts Hank on a diet, Hank complains that Sumo’s eating better than him. Connor analyses a dog biscuit just to freak Hank out
He hates snow. End of.
Connor puts a whiteboard on the bathroom wall so Hank doesn’t completely cover the mirror with sticky notes
What happened with Amanda doesn’t get revealed until Hank and Connor help clear CyberLife tower, and they stumble across the floor where Connor was made and tested. Connor finds some other designs for her, before it was decided to base Amanda on Amanda Stern. Hank eventually pries the information out of him and agrees to let Connor tell Markus in his own time.
Because Connor was a prototype, sometimes he bugs. Occasionally its amusing, like the time his voice box when bonkers and gave him a fast, squeaky voice like a cartoon chipmunk (”Hank, can you- Stop laughing! This isn’t funny! Stop calling me Alvin!”), but sometimes it’s not. Like the time he gets stuck halfway between the garden and reality, making it impossible for him to properly see or hear or have any clue what was happening. Hank found him in the driver’s seat of the car. They never worked out where Connor’s body had been attempting to go.
Markus
Carl doesn’t last more than a few months after the revolution, and per his instructions no ‘rich suck ups’ are allowed to the funeral. Instead Simon, Josh, and North all attend, along with Connor and Hank, Leo, and some friends of Carl from his so-called ‘rebel’ days.
Leo inherits the house and Markus inherits the money, paintings and collections. At first Markus isn’t sure about this, but when it’s revealed Carl did this so Leo had a stable roof to heal under he finds it hard to be annoyed. Leo seems just as uncomfortable, and awkwardly offers to let Markus keep everything as it is in the house rather than try and move it all. If he wants. No pressure or anything. It’s not a big deal.
He and North very quickly realise that outside of a life-or-death situation they aren’t the best match. No one is surprised when they split on good terms.
Markus has nightmares about the androids in the junkyard, specifically the ones he took parts from. And the hands.
There are some days where he can’t decide which is worse. Anti-android protesters or paparazzi
He’s a cat person. Nothing against Sumo, Connor, he just prefers cats.
He and Leo have a...strange relationship. They don’t talk to each other unless they have to, and only keep the vaguest of eyes on each other. They only really get talking when Markus stops by the house to pick up a book and finds Leo attempting to go cold turkey and making himself ill. Lots of things are said, good and bad, but afterwards things are somehow easier as well.
Markus and Simon quietly get together, much to the surprise of absolutely no one. Josh and North tease them endlessly about it.
Markus leads an art class at New Jericho. His favorite sessions are the ones with the YK500s, because some of the things they come out with are so stupidly funny that for a moment he’s able to forget all his troubles.
Kara:
Things are harder than expected in Canada. Getting blue blood and maintenance in a country which doesn’t allow androids is hard. Even with the help they get from Rose they decide that, as soon as it’s safe, they should head back to Detroit.
Luther is surprisingly good at making up stories. One of their favorite things to do is put Alice to bed and listen as he makes one up on the spot.
After a lot of curious questions from Alice, Kara teaches her how to change her hair colour. The result is a child who has a different shade hair everyday. Fine when they return to Detroit, less so while they’re hiding in Canada.
All of them have nightmares about Zlatko, Luther especially. Kara helps Alice build forts in her room on those nights.
After a lot of begging, Kara and Luther eventually allow Alice to get a pet. Alice excitedly introduces everyone to Eddie the tortoise.
Eddie is not allowed on the dinner table, Alice.
Eddie is not allowed on the bed, Alice.
Eddie is not allowed in the bath, Alice.
Sometimes the ‘what ifs’ nag at Kara, and she has to step away for a little while to try and clear her head. What happened to the people she stole the tickets from is the worst one. Thinking about the little baby forced to stay out in the cold brings her stress levels right up.
