Kakarot:

Race: Saiyan

Age: 10

Positive Traits:

He has a strong sense of determination. Believing that he too can rise up to become as strong as the elite Saiyans.

He is very knowledgeable, and had learned from his father and other Saiyans surrounding his life to survive on his own.

Believes that anyone can surpass their own limits and wants to spread that knowledge over to his family so they don’t have to be stuck being in the low class. He wants the best for his family.

He is open to new ways of fighting strategically instead of relying too much on older techniques.

His curiosity allows him to be more open to new things. For example he was interested in what technology could offer for fighters and his potential, especially since he met Bulma.

Negative Traits:

His own childish naivety can make him involved with people that could easily manipulate him without him realizing.

His instincts for his love of fighting can sometimes get in the way of what's important, even if it doesn’t go his way in some situations.

Only has very limited knowledge of how technology works because their society is still growing technologically, (as an ancient civilization ‘in universe’). He has a vague idea on what it was since the tall lizards came to their planet.

Can get distracted by his own Saiyan instinct of being gluttoness.

Because of him having a very hard time in battle when he was born (being estimated to be about a PL of 150 later on in his life), he has a harder time keeping up with the other kids when training at the Jr bootcamps.

Personality:

A determined and enthusiastic Saiyan child who has an intense interest in fighting. His own optimism makes him pursue himself to push forward and improve to not fall back. As well as his loyalty towards his family, but his own naive nature can hold him back sometimes. Making him vulnerable to people who want him to be behind them with,but at the same time, his own naivety plays a part in his own common sense, not thinking about things hardly, and just goes with the flow.

Motivations:

To become a stronger fighter and prove to higher rankings that he can be one of the elites. He wants to find more potential and competition from other warriors that he could fight for the thrill. He often wonders if there are even more strong warriors too than just his own species. Maybe even the soldiers that he saw coming out of the floating metal disk could introduce even stronger opponents than even the middle class or elites.

How Will They Grow?:

What type of arc will they go through?: Minor arc.

Will slowly mature overall for each arc.

His knowledge in technology will grow gradually after visiting 2 planets that are going to be introduced for this continuities worldbuilding.

Eventually will realize that he has to put fighting aside and not everyone plays fair gradually.

Improve battling overtime after completing their with the few mentors introduced for his development as a fighter.

Would improve on controlling his gluttony.

Will majorly affect major characters overtime for each arc and in the ending of the continuity.

hunter's daughter

a quick 260 word ficlet about mary and hunting and raising hunter's sons (on a03 or below the cut)

Mary is old enough to hunt before she is old enough to babysit. She spends four years tracking and keeping field journals with her daddy and waiting, so much waiting. She’s told all this waiting is practice and then she’s 12, and she’s not sure what she was waiting for because now she’s home with the hunters’ babies instead of out in the woods with them and her daddy. She hates it. Even her momma doesn’t have to mother like this, she’s on phone watch, which is real help and not this girl work. The babies cry and kick and spit and Mary just muddles through. She does as she is told. She raises these boys. All her daddy’s friends have sons. All her daddy’s friends say thank you for raising their sons. They come home from the hunt, grime on their hands and whiskey on their breath, and they crash on the couch, Mary trapped under sleeping baby weight on the chair, and they say thank you before they drop into sleep. Mary watches the sons through the night. In the morning, Mary asks, over breakfast she helped make, when she will be able to go hunting again. Mary’s daddy laughs, and her momma cuts him a quieting look. The other fathers look to her daddy with pity. Mary’s sure the joke is on her. Hunters make the world safer for hunter’s daughters to live in. Hunters tear their clothes and their daughters fix the rips with careful stitches. Hunters take and have and get, and daughters give. Mary knows where she stands.
