So, I have seen BOG, actually I re-watched it again before writing this little snippet down. With screenshots! Under a read-more because its image heavy.
Sadly...even if they had moderate screen-time, Krillin more than Eighteen, there wasn't that much K18 interaction in this movie. But it was nice to see them as a family again! Marron is such a cutie in this movie! She doesn't really have a speaking part but the glimpses we get are sweet, she sticks close to her parents but plays with Goten and Trunks as well, it's so funny the way she runs with a red balloon and Trunks tries to catch it.
There is also this moment. I couldn't understand all of it but my gist is, Krillin is kind of making fun of Bulma getting older and Eighteen is only interested in the Bingo and prizes they have later xDD.
The party is fun to watch because we get glimpses of our chestnuts having fun! And then..............then it all goes to Hfil (XD) ALL because Buu DOES NOT SHARE FOOD! Such a funny moment. (Even more funny than Vegeta trying to please Bills with his dumb antics!)
Anyway, so Bills gets mad and everyone stands up to defend against him. And then we see Eighteen charge him but she is useless against him of course, though I was happy to see her take action.
This was also the biggest WTF moment of the movie for me. Why? Because of this!
Now, I know I am biased and all, I mean Krillin is and always will be my favorite but I couldn't believe he actually RAN AWAY instead of making sure Eighteen was okay and fighting with the others. This is very OOC, Krillin would not run from a fight, especially if it involves protecting his loved ones and his friends. When I saw that moment in the various trailers and clips I kept the hope that it might have been a different scene but nope.........shame on you, Krillin! >_<
It is apparent, and also brought to my attention by Theultradork, that Toei animation does not like Krillin that much. His ooc-ness is cringe-worthy in that scene...T_T
After that little scuttle, Bills wants to blow up Earth but Goku comes back and interferes.
(BTW SSG is AWESOME to see!)
We see glimpses of Eighteen and Marron in the Capsule corps spaceship they take shelter in and Krillin who is outside with Piccolo and them watching the battle unfold between Goku and Bills.
After the battle, the party continues and we see them once more having fun.
All in all, the K18 in this movie is sparse, but sweet. I just hope that in the sequel, because there should be one!, Krillin will not be so OOC because that irked me so bad! So, that is my two cents, anyone else want to add to this? Feel free!
