Dragon Cave takes place in the world of Valkemare, a largely unexplored world where humans, dragons, and countless other species live closely with one another.
The world contains a large amount of natural diversity, in part thanks to the presence of natural mana and its effects on plants and animals. There are many eccentric environments to be found, from the mana-filled sands of Jehumuh Desert to the deep oceans.
Dragons are primarily found on the continent of Galsreim, in part thanks to an expansive underground cave system and large mana deposit deep within. On this continent (as well as those nearby), dragons make up the top of the food chain.
The humans of Valkemare have established a variety of settlements, ranging from lakeside villages to large cities. In many regions, humans coexist peacefully with dragons. In others, dragons are much less receptive to human expansion. Many brave (or perhaps foolish) souls venture out from the safety of towns in order to hunt or collect eggs from dragons.
Valkemare has two moons: The large, golden moon Aurax, and the smaller, blue moon Cirion. These two moons not only create interesting tidal patterns; they also are believed to have effects on wildlife and mana itself.
dc are going on immortal song again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello! Just a heads up:
I usually keep my posts pretty happy and light-hearted, but things will get a little heavy on Sunday’s posts of the Decades Challenge.
It has to do with Violet’s reaction to losing her son in WWI. It’s not too bad, but I’ll still tag the posts.
I’ll be tagging them with tw:loss and tw:dementia
I’ll reblog this again sometime Saturday :)
