A few days later, Nickel returns the crime scene aka his childhood home. This time for his father's birthday.

The frog sale came just in time, because the next day, Layla invited over her parents to formally meet Nickel (which required lots of wine). And this way he could assure them a house renovation was coming soon.

Nothing more shady that starting a sale in the middle of the night. Some poor townie bought the frog at a 300% mark up. And that is the last anyone will ever hear!
