The person who defended the senate by warning and shooting insurrectionist Ashli Babbitt? A black man revealing his identity after being cleared. Lt Michael Byrd.

There were not one but two black men that defended Democracy on January 6th during two critical moments that tested the convictions, the liberty, the strength, the pressure test of capitol police defending the heart of America. Our heroes kept us from falling into dictatorship.

Four persons died in conjunction with the Capitol riot, but some reports surrounding their deaths weren’t entirely accurate.

Way back when, in the early 70′s, I was in the National Guard. During my service, Kent State happened and all that followed, Nixon was impeached and resigned, etc. etc. So we were activated, or on watch for activation, several times. I remember snatching moments of sleep/rest when we could, and where we could, sort of like these soldiers. Makes me feel a lot better knowing the troops are there, in the Capitol, right now, with their weapons, one mobile phone, properly masked up. 

I chatted with one of my friends who is in the Secret Service. Obviously, he couldn’t say much, and I didn’t ask much, but what he did say made me comfortable. Basically, he said “we’re on it,” along with the National Guard.

Yet, very sad that I’m comforted by the presence of armed troops on guard in DC.

Cellphone records tie Proud Boys member to someone in Trump White House, NYT reports

An anonymous source who is familiar with an FBI cellphone data report says there was communication between the two.

A member of the Proud Boys was in contact with someone in former President Donald Trump's White House in the days before the Capitol Attack on January 6, The New York Times reported.

An anonymous source who is familiar with a cellphone data report from the Federal Bureau of Investigations told the Times that it's not clear what they discussed and did not disclose the names of either individual.

Well, what do you know? Something that we ALL knew.
