BATMAN
The window moving upwards alterted you. Looking over to see a massive figure entering through.
"Hey B!" You smiled widely seeing him. The giant man stared at you beneath the mask before closing the window and curtains.
You never got tired at him removing his mask to reveal his above all young and round face. Most would think that the Batman would be an older man.
But he was a young man by the name of Bruce.
Your Bruce.
"Rough night?" He nodded. A round like baby-face on top of a muscular body. The Batman was a young man full of pain. Wanting peace for Gotham, and for a city, and to he a man his father would be proud of.
"Dinner is almost done. After eating do you want to cuddle, or does the Dark Knight need a breather before going back out?" You asked teasingly. Lips licking over the dryness of them. Bruce blinked and hugged you.
"Home. Mom is alright. I just need to see if you would were alright."
You huffed with a smile. Embracing his big frame with your not as muscular figure. "I'm okay." Softly you spoke to the huge man. Such a caring man that cared way too much.
"Hungry. What are you making?"
You giggled, "Tacos." Softly leading him into the kitchen. The meat sizzling as were tortillas that were burnt in circles of some places. "Sit down and I'll get you a plate."
He sat obediently. His armor and such being placed on the couch in a respectful fashion. Silent and watchful as you gathered his and your plate together.
A night to the both of you. Away from the chaos of Gotham. Bruce needed this, and he needed you. For once, pretending he wasn't the Batman for a few moments.
To be with you.
To eat the food you lovingly made in silence, with you. Hues belonging to you and watching with interest if he liked the food you made.
He did, and he loved you.
WONDER WOMAN
Diana had lost her arm once again. Having been bitten off this time. Covered in blood, having which belonged to her and the many creatures she slaughtered.
Beings she didn't wish to, but they hadn't backed down.
"Diana!" She heard an angel. That being you, and running to her as she arrived in your house from an open window. "You're arm is gone!"
"I'm okay, my love." Her only hand cupped your face softly. Blood etched on your skin, and she quickly pulled away, "Sorry about that."
"Don't worry about it!" You quickly dismissed the blood on you're face. "I got the stuff for you're arm in the bed room! Just no blood on anything please. I'll get-" She didn't hear the rest as you ran away.
Diana laughed lightly at your nervous nature.
So she did. Casting her spell so that her arm came back to her. Wiggling her fingers and wiping away the blood from her body. Those same hands then urging to hold you.
Something good. An angel was what you were, especially when she heard the subtle noise of ruffles of fabric. Caught in a fluffy blanket and you're arms wrapping around her.
"My love!" She giggled as you both fell to the floor. Avoiding the typical-witch items. Falling to the floor with light laughter. "I'm okay." She noted your subtle tears.
A small whimper erupted from your lips, "Be more careful. You may be an Amazon, but you still can get hurt."
Diana patted your head, "Of course. Anything for you." Kissing you're forehead, oh, so gently. Melting in her arms as she turned you into her chest. The fluffy blanket being wrapped around you both.
As if the clouds Zeus created were wrapped around you.
"We mustn't sleep here. Only pain will follow if we lay here on the floor." You squeaked as she grabbed you and throwing you to the bed. Watching her undress and slip into soft fabrics.
Giant figure embracing you as the blanket did her. A moment to take time and to settle. No more fighting the godly monsters out there. A time for an Amazon to be what she was also, above woman with desires.
To be with you, is what she desired. So she held you, and let her drift to sleep as you played with her hair.
SUPERMAN
Softly his name was called out. Human touch upon his skin. Human was what you were as you stared into his eyes.
"Kal-el, it's alright. I'm safe."
How could he forget? Lazarus. Damn them, and trying to take you away from him. To destroy him, and when we was trying to help.
To hell what Sol said. You were worth fighting for. This planet would be something he would save, for you.
"Hey," You softly called out, "Get out of that head of yours. Don't bother right now on saving the world. Focus on me." You smiled.
He wished he could smile like you. One day maybe, like when maybe seeing his parents, and introducing you to them.
"For now, just focus on me and sleep. I found some food, too! And I just learned how to make clothes!" Brightly you showed him a shirt you sewed together.
You sniffed through the on-coming tears. The dirt covering your face, and the blood, and then the tears, and yet still smiling. "Just for a little bit?"
Kal was silent for a moment. He observed you and saw how you were still shaking. He couldn't bring himself to be calm, but he wanted you to be calm.
To be safe is all he wanted. To find a home, and that was you. For home to be safe it needed to feel safe.
So he nodded. "Show me how to sew?" He asked. Slight uptwitched of a smile. He tried at least. Kal-El wasn't known for any smile. But you brightened up anytime he tried.
Scrambling you got fabric, needles, and threads. The Kryptonian watching and making sure you had no broken bones or anything serious. Luckily, you didn't, so Kal-El was able to rest easy.
Resting beside him, and guiding his hands on how to sew a shirt. Red fabric soft against his touch, and then the sharp feel of metal, and the puncturing.
"Good job! Now loop it again and again!" He did as he was told. "Keep going!" You sat back with a bright smile. He wanted to keep that smile there.
So Kal-El blocked out the outside world. He blocked out his Sol and his parents for the time being. He was focusing on keep that smile, and keeping you alive. Well and happy.
Because one day he would save this world. He would bring a day of peace to you, and right now he would make it peaceful. So that you didn't need to worry about anything.

BATMAN
Bruce had come back from whereever he was, with Waylon who changed. Now this Bane was after Harvey, Ozzie, and Ed.
He was a torn-up man. Skin was abnormally pale in a way that was sickly. Light green coursing through his body, and his hair in a buzzcut.
The man was distressed. And your romantic feelings were the last thing he needed.
"You're staring." His voice is lower and so much darker. His eyes glazed over with something haunting. You weren't comforted with those eyes like you usually were.
Hesitantly, you took a step forward, "Bruce," saying softly. An aching heart in your chest. "What happened in Arkham?" You looked up at him with watery eyes. He looked so tired.
Bruce was quiet. He stared at you before replying with "A lot of bad things."
You couldn't help but blow up. "Bruce! My goodness, you were missing for months! You can't just answer me like that!" You clung to his giant arms. Using any strength you had to keep him here with you. To never leave again.
"Please, Bruce. What they did to Waylon was horrific! So tell me what they did to you! Your hair was shaven. You have green in your veins, and by god, some of your teeth are missing!"
You rambled on and on to him. Refusing to let him go. If you did, then he'd go away and never return. Bruce wouldn't be with you. You wanted him, and didn't want to lose him for months like that. Never again.
"Just tell me..." Your voice died down. Coming close to his chest and hands against his chest. Pulling at his shirt with not a care of how it look. Face hot due to the closeness you started.
"[ ]," Your name off his tongue made you flush. "I'm sorry." His hands rested on your shoulders. Squeezing them in a really enjoyable way. "I didn't mean to disappear on you. Any you."
Scrunching up your face. Hugging him tightly around his thick waist. Bruce felt cold. Not like the Bruce you knew before, who was always a furnace for you and the others.
"I love you. You know that?" His body froze as you said that. It was too late for you to take it back. Not wanting to let go and face him. He'd probably push you back.
But he didn't do that. His giant cold hands pushed your shoulders so you'd separate from his front. Hands cupping around your face with a gentle touch.
"[ ]," You shivered at how his name came off. Like velvet. Like something soft drifted across calloused fingertips. "You feel that way?" Forcing you to look at him. You couldn't help the tears that were rushing down your face.
"Yes, even when you were Selina. I've loved you since we were kids, and after your father's death, it just changed you. I wanted to help you, but I didn't know how. And then Batman, you missing for months. I couldn't bear any of it." The tears couldn't help but flow down your cheeks.
"I love you so much it hurts. I can't stand seeing you get hurt!" Bruce watched you sob into your hands. Drifting away farther into the corner of your small apartment.
Then you felt the force of a mountain pull you into a big embrace. It was Bruce who pulled you into it. Against his chest tight and firm. You could see on either side numerous scars and a green light aura beneath his skin.
"I'm so sorry [ ]," Bruce mumbled into your neck. "I don't know what to say. Just that I'm so sorry." He rubbed your back as you cried quietly into his chest. You tried to pull away, but Bruce wouldn't let you go.
"You need to leave soon? To save Ozzie, Harvey, and Ed, don't you?" You questioned Bruce in a small voice. The man in question said a hesitant yes.
Looking up at him and found watery eyes that reminded you of glass. He needed to leave or else they would die, or something worse. Like, whatever happened to Bruce and Waylon. The Batman needed to save them.
Gently, you stood on your toes and pressed a soft kiss to Bruce's lips. You felt his body freeze, but to your surprise, he pressed back. He cupped your face once again with such carefulness and love.
"I'll come back. I promise, [ ]. I love you too." He kissed you once more. Wiping away those tears.
"You better." Grumbling with a bittersweet smile.
WONDER WOMAN
"Diana!" You came at her with reckless movements. Into her front, and she caught you in her arms. "What happened in there? In the Labrynth?!"
She smiled sadly, "I am alright..."
"I don't care! What if you died in there? I don't care if you're some powerful warrior, you still could've died!" Diana sighed heavily at your words. Her hands are resting on your shoulders, separating each other from the embrace.
"Dear friend, you must understand-"
"There's nothing for me to understand!" You hated how she seemed to disregard your worry as she did with Steve. You've both known Diana for quite a time. She was a strong woman and could handle herself, but there was always the fear she wouldn't come back alive.
You could see from the corner of your eye that Steve was leading Barbara, Etta, and Gia out of the room. The man knew your feelings for the Amazonian quite well. He sent you an approving smile.
"I can't stand you getting hurt." You took her hands off your shoulders and held them to your chest. Fingers caressing her knuckles softly. Diana looked down at you with awe and confusion. Her brows furrowed, "I'm perfectly capable of handling myself. There's no need to worry."
"I have plenty of reason to worry!" As a friend of Steve, you spent days wondering countlessly if he'd even come back. The fear that he had died during the act of duty. You feared that your job as a nurse would cause you to find him horribly mutilated.
Sometimes he'd come bloody. It killed you, and it followed you. Diana couldn't go away. She sacrificed her arm when you and Steve ended up in hell. She helped you both with reckless faith.
You couldn't lose anyone else.
"I've had enough scares with Steve. I don't need both of the people I care most about to die or become horribly injured!" You couldn't help the flowing tears down your cheeks. Diana's voice hitched as you doubled over with her hands close to your chest.
"Don't leave me, please. I've lost enough...and I can't lose someone I love like you." Diana was loved by many at this point. Gateway City was proud to have her. She saved everyone, and Steve and you were among those first people. You loved her since she cut off her own arm for you and Steve. Even more so when she saved everyone from death against those beasts.
And with that love came worry. You'd always worry about her no matter the circumstances. She was right in saying she could handle herself, but it never stopped the worry. Steve might have been an expert warrior, but it didn't stop the fear of seeing him cruelly mutilated.
Every day, you pleaded for it not to come true.
"You don't need to worry, dear [ ]." Diana raised your head. She had a comforting smile. "I won't be injured, nor will I die." Her blue eyes were full of compassion. "It adores me so that you view me in such a way. In a way, your love makes me strong [ ]."
Your breath hitched at her words. Even more so, your breath caught in your throat when her lips connected with yours. "Diana?"
"It's an honor to be loved by someone like you, [ ]. The more you love me, the more I'll prevail. I have one more reason as to why I need to live on and fight." She caressed your face, "Love keeps me alive."
She pressed a kiss to your forehead, "So no need to cry over me, my dear [ ]." Even so, you cried into her chest, as she cooed over you.
SUPERMAN
It's been so long since Kal visited you. He'd been close to dying, you heard, and was practically going through a crisis. The conflicting matters of who he should kill, or not.
Every day you prayed to anything that your beloved Kal El wouldn't kill anyone. No matter who it was, because those people who took care of him when he first landed here wouldn't want that for him. His own parents, who could be alive or dead, wouldn't want that.
Right now, you are wrapping your wounds. After following Kal and going against his words. You didn't doubt that he was heading to you.
You got hurt, and so he'd enact his judgment on you. You're heart still fluttered at the chance of seeing him. Kal had made an impact on you. Any chance to see him felt unreal.
Superman was a beacon for the oppressed. Fighting against Lazarus, who was beating down everyone, killing and taking what they wanted.
The breeze coming from broken windows changed. Feeling burning eyes behind your back. It was Kal. Aching heart at only his presence. Burning cheeks as you turned to find him hovering slightly off the ground. Arms down at his sides with those ocean blue eyes staring down at you.
Like the high being that he was. Kal, despite all his time with you, felt closer than he was with others, felt distant. You wanted to be closer, but he was a powerful being. Kal was broken, and he was allowed to sit where he wanted.
You never tried to argue against that, but at this point, you feared for the infamous Superman to break like glass.
"Kal. How nice to see you again." You waved to him with your uninjured hand. Hiding the injured one behind your back. A sheepish smile you gave him. Sweating bullets and struggling to hold eye contact with him.
You couldn't expect his next movements. In an instant, your injured arm was cradled in his hands. Kal picked up his head from your arm and looked over you completely.
"You're injured." Kal was unkind in his words. Blunt in how he felt, but gentle with you. Knowing just how fragile normal humans were. Civilians who were soldiers and were made to kill. "You went against told you were told to do. What I warned you against."
You held your ground, "I wanted to see you. To help you!"
"Lazarus may have tried to kill you! You could have been killed!"
"I just wanted to help! I'm tired of being useless and not being able to do anything!" You tried to pull away, but his firm grip on your arm wouldn't let you. "Against Lazarus ! The Peacemakers! I'm tired of not being able to help!"
You tightened up your mouth, "Tired of not helping you. Even you can't take these people on your own. Even Agent Lane can't help you as much as she wants!"
Kal continued to stare at you. His blue eyes were wide while listening to you protest. His attention seemed to be brought elsewhere. Sol was talking to him right now.
"Sol, turn off."
You raised your brows in surprise. "Kal, please." You pressed your uninjured hand to your chest. "I want to help you. Please." You felt tears coursing through your eyes. Just threatening to spill out.
It didn't help that your heart was bumping against your chest. You loved this man so much. This wasn't even his home planet, and yet he wanted to save this planet from intos own inhabitants.
"You'll get hurt."
Kal took you into his arms and into the makeshift bed you made. Comfortable yet a little uncomfy as well. "But I can try in another way. I've seen you teetering on the side of killing others."
Kal's eyes went wide. "What-"
"You're better than Lazaurus and those Peacemakers. Better than all those people who are killing and taking what isn't theirs." You are practically begging the man to listen to you. "Be the man I know your people, your parents would want you to be."
Your heartbeat was running wild. Noting Kal's confused expression and then looking all over you. You two were face-to-face. No doubt he felt the heat of your skin from his close distance from you.
"Why is your heart running so high?" He felt your forehead. "Why are you burning up?"
You made up your mind to make this move. "Because of you." Quickly, you kissed his lips softly. His voice hitched when you kissed him. So far, the only skin-to-skin contact he's had was through violence. "My heart is why I want to help you."
"You're home is gone, and you want to save this world from its own people. You cared for me when you found me. Nursing my injuries. You can make a life here." You grabbed his hands just as gently.
"I want to help you make that future a reality." You pursed your lips nervously, "I love you, Kal. The first person I've seen who has shown me hope in such a long time."
"So please, let me help you."
Kal stared at you, surprised. However, before your heart could break, he spoke, "You really believe I can make that future come true?"
"Yes! You've brought hope to so many people. Even Agent Lane has turned to your side, hasn't she? You can make a difference, and I wanna be part of that with you."
Kal was silent before nodding. "Steer me in the right direction if I ever go astray. That's all I ask you to do."
He kissed you back just as gently and unsure, but it was true.

Summary! You got hurt because of them, to taking a hit or in the crossfire of a fight. It's only fitting they try to push you out so that you don't get hurt, but what sucks is that your determination is stronger, much more stubborn.
BATMAN
His heart went a mile a minute when you got hurt, blood splattered on the floor.
Bleeding from your stomach, you doubled over in pain
Bruce's own emotions went out of whack at the sight
After everything that's happened, he can't let you get hurt anymore
___
Your eyes flickered open to a beeping sound. A heart monitor next to the bed where you were lying in.
You blinked and then found the blurry image of a huge figure across from you. Blinking a few more times you found Bruce with heavy bags under his eyes.
"Bruce...?" You mumbled.
His eyes were shook as they looked at you. They were full of tears.
"You're okay..." He came over and sat in the chair, giant hands grabbing yours. "You...You don't hate me, do you?"
You blinked in surprise, "What do you mean? Are you referring to like Ozzie and Harvey?"
Biting down on the inside of your cheek for a moment, "You know none of that was your fault. It was Bane who hurt them, not you, and you were in Ark M, Bruce. There was no way you could stop it from happening. Same with Waylon."
Bruce stayed silent for a moment. Worry set deep in your heart as you watched him contemplate his next few words. You brushed his hair from his face to see the red puffiness around his eyes.
"Bruce-"
"I want you to move out of Gotham, somewhere else, anywhere else but here. So you won't get hurt." He got up to get going, "I'm gonna call in a friend to take you-"
"Bruce! What the hell are you saying?!" An aching feel surfaced in your chest, "I can't just leave you-"
"Yes, you can, and you will." Bruce refused to look at you at all. There was hoarseness to his voice. He felt pitiful; his voice was. Shaking at what he was saying to you.
A fact he wouldn't see you again.
"You can't just make that decision for me, Bruce! I made my choice in betting hit! This is my injury from my decision to help and protect you!"
"Don't be stupid-"
"The others made their choice! They wanted to know even after you refused so many times! You and they didn't ask for Bane to hurt them! They didn't willingly put themselves in enemy fire to protect you! I did because I wanted to!"
You doubled over at the pain in your stomach. Bruce's brows raised, eyes full of fear.
"Let me help, otherwise your gonna die, Bruce." So desperate looking at him. Furrowed brows deep in desperation. "Believe me I think you'll need me, us more than what you believe."
Bruce was at a loss of words. "You..."
"Like I told you that night...stay alive for me, and if I stay you'll be less reckless. Just let me stay, Bruce." Tears bellied themselves out of your eyes. Soft sobs from your lips.
"Don't make me leave, Bruce."
He came over and sat on the bed. His giant form dwarfing you. You clung to him, embracing him so very tightly.
"I'm sorry..." Guilt was buried itself into his chest. Could he let you leave when you were so desperate to stay. For now he'd let you stay.
Until then, he'll defend you, keep his life safe until ge finally gets you to a safe place, hopefully when you give up and leave.
WONDER WOMAN
Diana was beside herself
While occupied you were hurt after that exchange with the suicide squad
You were bleeding and burned.
So terrified to see this happen to you, almost watching death take you away from her.
____
She held your hand as you awoke from unconsciousness. Her blue hues full of tears when looking at your body that was bandaged with gauze and stitches.
Diana was so used to seeing you do these things on her and others. Diana wasn't at all use to herself healing you.
"Diana..." A whisper from your lips came. Eyes dull. Diana couldn't believe her mind and what it was thinking, but for a time, you needed to be gone.
You'd be able to heal easier.
"It's good to see you awake." She brushed your temple with her fingers. "Stay down. Keep there for now."
Your fingers wanted to cling to her. Diana shushed you with a sad sweet smile. Her heart ached deeply on her next words.
"[ ], I need to tell you something." Diana relayed to you, holding your hand gentle. Fingers brushing over your bandages softly. Her eyes centered on the small burn along your shoulder.
"What is it?" Your voice cracked. It was hoarse and dry. Diana huffed and let you have a drink of water.
"I want you to leave this fortress for a while. Steve is to leave soon and this will be the best time for you to heal and be safe."
Your eyes widened in shock. You shook your head, small tinge of pain in your neck from the movement. "No-"
"No, save your voice."
"I'm not going anywhere!" You refused to listen to her words. Diana huffed at you. Already you were pulling at your bandages. "I want to stay here!"
"You need to heal. You are going with Steve so you can heal." Diana gestured to your entire body.
"Look at yourself my dear. Burned minimally but there are injuries that'll leave scars. I'm afraid I won't use magic on you in case it hurts you."
Your eyes narrowed, "None of this was your fault. I hope you know that. It's my fault for not running fast enough. I was trying to help everyone else and I got hurt because of it. But I wanted to."
It was the same determination in your eyes that she had. Diana remembered her words when speaking to Steve about the labyrinth. The same notion that she would be okay no matter the circumstances.
"I made my bed and I'm laying in it. Diana, I'll be fine here. Trust me, I'm a tough cookie, and I'm willing to take your unconventional methods." You smiled big. It felt disturbing with all the bandages and burns on you, laying in this bed injured.
"Maybe even that witch at the party can help. Something tells me she's good."
Diana huffed. A smile morphed on her lips. "I believe I've left an impression on you."
"Never give up Diana. This is nothing, and i want to stay." You giggled as she pressed a kiss to your head.
"After all, who's gonna patch you and the others up the way I can?"
SUPERMAN
The parasite was able to get you but there was injuries on you from its destruction in Metropolis
He saved everyone that day but you still ended up getting hurt
He can't handle this. Is there a way to send you with you getting hurt.
Kal isn't sure how to keep you safe.
____
Kal was watching over you like a hawk. His ears keeping an eye on your heartbeat, making sure it never went away.
Even after putting on the cot on the floor he still felt the weight on you in his arms despite his strength. Kal couldn't get his eyes off you.
You needed to leave Metropolis, or something like that. How can he keep you safe? Kal wasn't sure in any slightest.
Speak of the devil. You awoke from your slumber. Eye sleepy and blurry looking up into Kal's very blue hues.
Voice hoarse calling out for him.
"You're okay..." His voice was strained, like then. That familiar frown his face was deeply upsetting. To solve it you cupped a hand onto the side of his face.
"What's got you so upset. I'm okay, that monster didn't do so much damage." Your reassurance didn't help the expression on his face. Your brows furrowed at sight.
Kal breathed in low and rough. Blue eyes narrowed and layered over with regret.
"I want you to leave Metropolis."
"Huh?"
"I can take you somewhere else. Safer than here. Somewhere and with someone that can protect you. Like that witch of the west Hawkman told me about. She can help you-"
You placed a finger to his lips, brows furrowed deep and concerned. "Wait. You can't make that decision for me."
Kal made a face.
"Don't act like that with me Mister! You may be all powerful, like a god, but i want to stay here despite the danger. Don't you use your head? The same happened with Lois and Jimmy!"
Kal shook his head, heart aching so hard against his chest. Heartbeat in his ears. "That's different!"
"No its not! And you know it! It's not your fault that the parasite monster came! It's on me to keep care of myself while you were figuring out what to do! None of this is your fault! I can take care of myself, Kal!"
You took his hands into yours linking fingers. A soft smile on your lips looking into his own blue hues.
"You'll always save me, i feel safe with you, Kal. Just like Lois said. You're Superman, a man that can definitely save everyone if you try hard enough. Don't bother what that Hawkman said."
Kal defaulted to a still body before hugging you. You giggled against his suit, clinging just as tight.
"Just promise me you'll be careful." Kal murmured, his voice sounding so somber, like before.
