I came off anon so you could see I wasn't just some troll or baiter but that I really care about this subject and hate to see things like this where my black trans friends are, as usual, thrown under the bus to make a point.

Yo i get how you came the conclusion that I was throwing myself under a bus, and that you were able to presents a flaw in my writing, but tbh like, i know what I'm talking about. I'm a black trans person and the racism i experience is BOTH analogous to AND inseparable from the transphobia I encounter.

The point of that post was to draw attention to the ways in which cis people utilize the same lines of thinking to justify their racism and their transphobia, and how, in their minds, neither is a problem. That that post could be misconstrued as hand-waving of the severity of [trans]misogynoir is completely on me, however, and I'll make sure to structure my sentiments in a clearer manner.

Thanks, I appreciate it.  I'm pretty used to dealing with her unique brand of crazy. It's really frustrating, but luckily I've always had a pretty solid relationship with my body image. So she's not going to win me over, just piss me off. But I know not everyone is as lucky as I am in that respect.
