Wait... Is this therapy from the Doctor about how to deal with emotional trauma of killing people/absolutely-anything-I-guess?!! Wow! Doctor, you are not capable of that!
I see what you did there! ;P
At first, I actually hated it that we hadn't seen more of him. Like, we were just going full into the whole: Racism is still a thing possibly hundreds of years later, just not how we expect it. And then BAM suit. But perhaps that’s actually really powerful. Way more than if she had explained it to him. Because that is a big part of her life. And its just coming more forward in Doctor Who. First ofcourse Thin ice, now Oxygen. I really love it that they just put it aside as if, well, it exist, what more is there to tell. There are spacezombies who want to kill everybody, bit more important now. I am still sad he didn’t get a backstory or was explained more than his name (wich of course was clearly always pronounced wrong). But wow Doctor Who! You nailed it! Again! A social problem (Nardoles comment: A lot of my friends are blueish) inside a political main one about the underclass and undervalued who still want to stand up for themselves in the system with people judging and getting handicap and how you react to it and what to do. Because you can’t stop. With a mening of life and death and your effort and place in the world at the end of it all! GOD!
IT WASN’T JUST THE PRESSURE AND THE THREAT WHAT MADE THIS EPISODE ABSOLUTELy FANTASTIC!! IT WASN’T THE AMAZING COSTUMES OR INCREDIBLE SCRIPT AND MARVELOUS BACKGROUNDS WITH ACTORS SO GOOD YOU DIDN’T REALISE TIME PASS!
It was the fact that you could relate and understand why someone would give up in that room with that blind man you didn’t know an hour ago telling you to die. It’s understanding why you would say yes, what made this episode amazing.
LET’S PLAY A GAME!
Wich episode was Rivers first episode?
1. Silence in the library
2. A christmas carol
3. A good man goes to war
4. Let’s kill Hitler
STOP MAKING ME QUESTION EVERYTHING THAT I KNOW IS CORRECT DOCTOR WHO!!! I DON'T LIKE IT!
Knowing that these aren’t the clothes she wore when she entered the vault; I am either very concerned about the Doctors fashion choice (Nut everyone already is) or the timelord fashion choice for their dead. (but everyone already is). So that I’m trying to say is: WE NEED BETTER FASHION WITH ALIENS!
