cisphobia isn’t real- but let’s be honest, tumblr can be very biased against cis people. i rarely ((although i do not go to the hate side of tumblr or follow those blogs)) see posts about how trans people “are bad because they’re not cis”, whereas at least once a day i see a post that goes along the lines of “cis people are annoying” “why would you ever be cis”, etc. not only does that give the impression that your gender identity is a choice, which it is not, but it can be very detrimental to a cis person to see that day after day. YES, I UNDERSTAND MY PRIVILEGE. i will never be murdered for being cis. i will never be denied a job because of my gender. just remember- reblogging a post about how all identities are important and the next day reblogging a “ugh cis people” post is very hypocritical.
how is a trans person being justifiably annoyed at a group of people who might have made their life hell comparable to someone on the internet saying "cis people are annoying" tho like what are these not comparable at all teas......
also legit no real trans person says anything like "why would u be cis" only troll anti-sjw do that stuff. most trans people aren't that awful and it's kinda disappointing that people actually believe that shit. i thought we were past the days of people actually thinking trans people say "die cis scum".
basically, y'all need to just sit down and keep ur lips quiet about stuff you probably don't even have a full grasp on
