Dicemasters. I ended up playing this because of a slight confusion between “Dicemasters” (the current Quarriors-descended game pictured) and “Dicemaster” (a classic game from Iron Crown and Kris Burm, published in the late 90s). Anyway, I had kind of lost track of Quarriors after we finished with it, but it turns out it’s alive and well and cranking out lots of product in the DC and Marvel universes. We enjoyed Quarriors a ton for quite a while, before just a bunch of balance issues caught up with it, along with the development team’s inability to release sets of consistent quality. It was actually fun to revisit, but it’s not going to make it back into regular rotation 😄. I actually sold off all my actual Dicemaster dice just a couple months ago, after facing the reality that I hadn’t played in over 20 years and it may not, in fact, have been all that great. But I still have a soft spot for it. #bgg #boardgamegeek #biardgames #dicemasters #dcdicemasters #tabletop #boardgamenight https://www.instagram.com/p/B6ZlWY1hG0_/?igshid=6d1lhhnk9r9u
