Managed to track down a copy at the airport bookstore 💕

They spoiled us OMG. There are full spreads of the cover art (without text) AND a large poster you can remove and put up.

Took a few pics of the inside articles showing the new outfits.

Had fun watching the movie again and trying the KID sundae. 🍀

The theater had a tag coffee kiosk so I made a nerd label with a lightly sweetened Sakura latte (They had other Conan themed ones, too! Including a spoiler one lol).

The ice cream flavors in the sundae were Sakura and the Conan yogurt berry flavor with pop rock candy. The KID card was printed on white chocolate and the cookie was a basic vanilla biscuit with royal icing. The little plastic coaster & standee came with the sundae set for a little under ¥1200.

I definitely view it as complicated relationship don’t think he completely hates his brother and like the idea he tried to protect him after he was nearly murdered by a shadowy criminal organization and named his son after him both as an honor and an insult.

that is a really nice idea! i think i was just thinking in terms of a more comedic relationship, and that it made more sense to me in terms of like. plot convenience i guess? as to why shinichi and kaito don't seem to have met
