“I’d like to complete my master’s degree, I think,” Grace replied with a shrug. Her ‘10 Year Plan’ was a bit off track, especially with a child on the way. So, Grace recognized that it might change. “I’d like to be a certified nurse anesthetist – eventually.”

“I’m not leaving you again,” Grace insisted, leaning into his chest as they lay in bed. Grace tried her best to talk things through with Jacob -- even in the middle of the night. “You’re my everything, Jacob Steele,” she continued, raising her head to glance up at him. “This family is my everything, and I’m never going anywhere without you.” She’d made the mistake of leaving him behind before, and it’d nearly cost her. “This is all I’ve ever wanted,” Grace added, sincere. “I love you, and I just want you to love me, too.”
