truth being spoken right now, when you hear that someone was born and raised in japan for a pretty long amount of time and they haven’t had sushi for all they stay in there, sounds pretty weird, right ? and pretty..hm, unbelievable. still it was the truth, mayu haven’t had any sushi for all of her twenty-one years of life. that until the other invited her out, to eat some. her words made the younger laugh, a half nervous laugh since she was indeed nervous to eat it. the sound of raw fish, seafood wasn’t that appealing to mayu but she had no time to step back and it would’ve happened one day, or another. why not now. ❛ i don’t. i am pretty scared. ❜

“You weren’t supposed to laugh! I’m so embarrassed!”

       ’ Don’t laugh ‘  —  often uttered phrase one states another before they offer to show or speak of something that is rather humerous and laughter-worthy. How sardonic. What is he supposed to do when he is offered one of the most ludicrous images for his eyes to engulf of? It is so foolish, unreasonable, or out of place as to be amusing; anserine that he cannot hold back the boyish laughter that ever so blissfully and childishly erupts his velveteen lips. He does not even expel to cover his mouth of civility – his head simply rolls back briefly and his entire facade is written by jovial and cordial expression.   “I – I’m sorry, it’s just–” He’s unable to hold back and frankly, any person who shares a homogeneous sense of hilarity as this adolescent does would not be able to halt these titters back. Also known for his natural aggrandizement on top of his sprightliness the boy then dismissingly shakes his palm of hand, as if endeavoring to quell his slightly exaggerated laughter down to a mere subtle chuckle. “I know– I know I said that I wouldn’t laugh at you but c’mon! Just look at this!” Old-fashioned type of short dress with a colorful print on it … he is nowhere near a fashionista and neither does he claim to have an proficiency in style or trends, however something that appears to be so wrongly styled seems so facetious and jocular to him. Well, perhaps he is indeed overemphasizing with his response as for he didn’t mean to laugh that loud – albeit, it is mostly his own burst of energy and liveliness that is apparent in his chortles and general conduct that moment. Long story short; he means no havoc — he has already soothed down and now wears solely a tender smile on his lips.

         “This is the most ridiculous outfit ever, I can’t believe                you actualy want to wear and model that!”

❝  … yes. all of them are blue. are you okay ? do you have a fever by any chance–  ❞  kami stretches out her hand, palm laying flat against younghui’s forehead. nothing seems off about the temperature, in fact – her forehead feels more on the cold side. ❝  no fever, at least I don’t think so. have you been drinking ? it’s like eleven in the morning, you haven’t right ? you don’t like coffee so I doubt it has something to do with having too much caffeine in your system..  ❞  her gaze wanders around the room, lips pressed into a thin line as she’s clearly in thought. she robs a little closer to the other female who’s sitting on the edge of kami’s hospital bed, big grin planted on her face.  ❝  you’re lucky you’re already in a hospital. if you say more weird, twisted things I may call a nurse on you. not only because my former roomie here left the hospital earlier and there’s a free bed.  ❞  to her defense; it gets terribly lonely in a hospital sometimes. while she may have made some great friends – special shoutout to kaori who’s been with her since childhood – a lot of them come and go, leaving her at zero again. it gets exhausting to constantly make new friends. so why not cast old ones. not that kami would ever wish it upon anyone to become a long term patient in a hospital with a possibly life threatening disease but.. you know. the overall thought of casting people to decide who should be her hospital buddy makes kami emit a chain of soft laughter; the laughter turns into violent coughing, and before you know it the girl’s back to smiling as if nothing happened.  ❝  think about it !!! you may fell on your head and need a doctor to care for you.  ❞

"What’s your favorite Christmas song?"

Yulhee pauses for just a moment, excerpts from multiple holiday tunes flashing through her mind as she tries to think of an answer. There isn’t really a Christmas song she doesn’t like, in all honesty. Winter isn’t necessarily her favorite time of the year, but she enjoys the season nonetheless, and absolutely loves the fun that Christmas brings into her life. And being a fan of music, she’s always found enjoyment in Christmas songs. 

“Mmh…..I think Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Maybe.” There’s another pause, this time as she raises a cookie to her mouth and takes a little bite. “What about you, unnie? What’s your favorite Christmas song?”
