Favorite parts of the weekend
-we got stuck at the train station for two hours cause my advisor wanted us to finish our scrapbook and conveniently forgot to tell us the train was delayed three hours
-did I mention I’ve never been on a train before? Trains are fucking amazing!
-A girl said “I love you” in reaction to me complimenting her UA hoodie
-“do you know where the delegates are supposed to go?” “Nope!” “Cool, Cool! We can suffer together!”
-we did ice breakers and at one point, someone started fortnite dancing
-we made a sign that says “our school votes for cactus” and have been carrying it around the entire convention
-the fucking key club chants and making people do them at random times. My advisor said “hey Sharon how do you feel!” when I was making this post, making me stop so I could complete the chant
-made a comic about a super hero chili as a workshop
-got to make a cape for a teddy bear!
-went to an anti-stress workshop that ended with the person running it venting to a student for a bit as a joke
-phones weren’t allowed during voting but that changed when one of the higher ups was trying to get their Instagram to 10k
-there was a fundraiser towards our huge project and it was an auction. It quickly turned into a huge pool of all the schools’ funds hitting 15k just so we could see one of the Kiwanis members shave his mustache off
-There was a dance off during the presentation and the students danced to Cotton Eye Joe
-at the dance later that night, I got in the middle of the dance floor and did some fortnite dances
-fucking harambe and left hand shark were there??? It’s 2019???
-I made like, six friends after being awkward. It was fun!
-we got third place in the scrapbook contest!
-the new board members gave their speech and a lot of it was different occasions with this one guy
-one of the Kiwanis members received a fanny pack, a dad joke book, and Mountain Dew as a present
