I know I’m the worst at staying updated but when people say you’re gonna be busy all the time and when you don’t have plans for the first time in forever you just sleep because you’re so tired. It’s true.
If I’m not working I’m in the parks or catching up on laundry and grocery shopping. But that’s the boring stuff.
I last updated right before Irma... Well it wasn’t bad - scary but not bad. I got paid the days during the hurricane that I was supposed to work, but the park was closed obviously. So that was really nice...
But work has been good. I know what I’m doing now, I’m getting to know more people and they are all great. Everyone is so funny and sassy and I’m living for it. We really are a family over at Sunset.
I have yet to find time to go to a Disney Housing event since the welcome one. Unfortunately events don’t line up with my work schedule and when they do, I learn about it too late. But that’s fine I’m not even halfway through my program so I’m definitely gonna find time to do more.
I’ve been to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and it was so cute and fun! I loved every minute of it. The shows were the best and I did not have on character experience that disappointed. Prince Eric is my favorite, and I’ve never met him despite my hundreds of visits and I finally met him and *swoon* he was great.
My boyfriend came and visited me so I got the weekend off and it was so great to have a piece of home here with me and someone I can show my new home too. He also hadn’t been to Disney World so it was exciting for him. We managed to do 3 parks in one day - we’re saving Animal Kingdom for his next visit.
My birthday is in a little over a week and my parents will be here in exactly one week! I got 5 days off to celebrate in the parks with friends and family. I’m so excited. It has honestly been a life long dream to celebrate my birthday at Disney. But never living the right state or having a birthday during a school break, it just never happened. But finally it is, and I will be 22!!!
I’m gonna get on my phone and do picture posts with a little bit more specific details of what I’ve been doing.
But almost halfway through the program I can confidently say this program is amazing, I regret nothing in coming here, this is something I would highly recommend to EVERYONE! Especially if you love Disney :)
