The Countdown!

As of today, the 16th of July, I have 22 days until I get on a plane to FLORIDA! My mom and I have decided to go extra early to help with the time change, hang out and (what we have newly decided to do) visit all of the resorts! We really wanna go resort hopping and just look at how beautiful they are and help her decide where she wants to stay when she comes to visit me!

So now that its like 22 days, I have to start to think about packing. Packing is fun when you’re going on vacation, but just thinking about packing all the stuff in order to live there is daunting. Especially with having to fly from Oregon (aka like almost the farthest possible location from Florida in the US) and fitting it all into 4 bags tops (were flying southwest so my mom and I both get 2 free checked bags- YAY!) makes me nervous. I’m a notorious over packer, just ask anyone who has seen my college dorm room, I honestly don’t know how I fit all of that stuff in a half of a glorified broom closet. I’m trying to pare down and not bring that many clothes or random stuff that I won’t really need.

Speaking of clothes, I finally found TRADITIONS attire! It was super hard for me to find cute business attire because I’m like the size of a 9 year old, but I finally found some separates at H&M that were super cute and business-y! So I was really happy about that.

I have also received my new hire email, in which directs me to a website with a thousand forms, but for some reason my computer or the website or browser or something isn’t letting me “sign and submit” any of the forms, so I’m gonna try a different computer and see if I have any better luck.

Well, I’m off to find, and probably post, a bunch of DCP packing lists!
