“Easy,” Joseph began, taking the bottle from his nephew. “Zachary Vanderbilt is the best guy you’ll ever meet.”

Cornelius scoffed. “That’s like eight words.”

“He’s got you there,” Zach chipped in. 

“Alright smartass. You go first. Describe the best girl you’ve ever met in three words,” Joseph challenged. 

“Ridiculously sexy,” Cornelius began, reaching for a shot glass. “Smart as fuck,” he went on, swallowing the drink, a grunt following as he shook his head. “And mine.”

The response was a shrug of shoulders, Arielle pulled her blanket back over her head. “Probably in the laundry bin.” It wasn’t often that the Vanderbilt entourage did sleepovers, their black sheep cousin had the habit of making them unnecessarily complicated, but Ari treasured the moments spent with Zach. “I’m going to call up crew in a bit, no use spending all day doing nothing when we can do it together.”

Ash tapped from the end of a dwindling joint, no doubt leaving singed marks in the sheets. He’d worry about it later, but now his head drifted back, coughing perfect rings to halo above them in the air. “There goes my locker room gossip for this week,” Max teased, bright eyes falling half shut, cheek nuzzled against the brunette’s shoulder amicably, “I’m going to need something I can tell them, then.”

Oliver’s brow lifted and his lips split into a grin. “If you’re looking for brag material for Kit, you’ve got it. You can tell him about how firm my chest is now,” the taller of the two needled, wrapping his arms around his longtime friend, dipping his head to Zach’s ear. “No homo,” came his hushed comment, dissolved in innocent laughter.
