“My mom is trying to ruin my life. You have to save me.”
Felicity stood at her desk and stared at her monitor, palms flat as she tried to figure out her current mental quandary. “Hey. You ever feel like you’re forgetting something or like it’s just...going by without you seeing it?”
“Okay, I made dinner! You ready to eat?” Felicity set the chili pot on the counter with a smile and looked at them.
“No, ’m not ready for th’ play, ’m not done w’the glue!” Felicity woke with a start.
“I’m not going to any more interdimensional parties, I always end up losing something to a canary and there are way too many of them.”
Felicity rushed into the Arrow cave in her stretch pants and a t-shirt, the yoga mat and bag over her shoulder as she ran up the steps to the computer. “Hey, I’m late, I’m so sorry!” She nearly choked as the bag caught on the arm of the chair and she pulled it off, dropping it to the side of the chair with a thud.
Walking down into the foundry, Felicity rubbed the spot right behind her ear, trying to get the imaginary sound to leave her head. Spotting her friend, she smiled. “You ever get a serious case of Zelda ear?” She made conversation as she sat at her computers.
“Okay so I was working with some of the fancy shmancy new toys in R&D and I need a cheek swab. From everyone, not just you, this isn’t, like, a clone thing, although you would make a great subject for that kind of project because wowza but for now you are my guinea pig on something a little less Dolly.”
