      tonight had felt like a dream come true. it was still surreal to kyra, not only she had become a victoria's secret angel, but she was dating the most amazing, supportive boyfriend on the planet. she had never been one to do relationships, but there was something about him, something she still couldn't pinpoint but would never get enough of. their relationship wasn't perfect nor easy, though. people were constantly talking about it and being apart from each other for long periods of times could lead to a few fights, but in the end, all that mattered was that they loved each other. "i swear i thought i was gonna trip and fall on my face," the blonde admitted with a soft giggle, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "i'm so happy you were there too, tonight was wonderful."

         leonard always knew marriage wasn’t his forte. so why he had agreed to the engagement and then suddenly broke it up weeks before the wedding was beyond his own comprehension. it wasn’t as though he  didn’t love the mother of his daughter. he adored her, worshiped her, loved her only second to the tiny little girl in the red christmas dress. they agreed to meet early in the parking lot so that the little girl could have her hair done by her mother. the male would never learn how to master the braid, or the pony tail. most days he struggled to remind her to brush it. he stands outside the car as he watches the hair action go down himself. “it’s no wonder i fell in love with your mother — she knew what she was doing. you look great.” he whispers to his daughter, the christmas concert was only a few minutes away. of course the little fly on the wall had informed him all about the new guy her mother was seeing. “didn’t bring a date?” he asks glancing from the small girl to her stunning mother.

                 she met his gaze for the first time in what felt like hours. she grit her teeth, willing herself not to respond. this was how he won her round every time. it was if he knew, as if he could sense her weakness: an irrational and insatiable need to be wanted. “are you?” she said eventually, in a voice devoid of any emotion. “or are you just looking for a way to control me?”

She should feel guilty about this. She should feel shallow for using a friend for the sex her boyfriend couldn’t give her, but one look from Lamar had her melting. It wasn’t even like Adam wasn’t a sweet guy who fulfilled her emotionally, it was that the sex was so awful, just the thought made her cringe. 

Every time she sought out Lamar, Isabella swore it was the last. But, as he always did, he drew her back in and had her begging for more, for one last release only he could provide. 

This release begged to occur from a tough case closed at work. Isabella tried her hardest to not think about it, but it was nearly impossible unless she had something else in front of her to distract her from it. She stood outside his apartment door and leaned against the door jamb to knock on it. “NYPD,” she called, her tone quiet and pointed, lest his neighbors get the wrong idea.

There really was nothing that Heather liked more these days than a relaxing evening with Moira. Ever since the two of them had met, Heather had really come to like the other woman - even more so since they had made the risky decision to get a little more intimate with one another. And now that Jason was away, her sons with friends, she could have a lovely time with this beautiful woman. 

Placing down her glass of wine, Heather smiled playfully as she straddled Moira’s legs and cupped her cheek.
