A content chuckle left the boy as his figured kicked at the leaves that had fallen forever, in Forever Fall; his hand lifting the stem of some weed to his teeth. Nothing soothed away school troubles like a nice walk towards the end of the day. The sky nearly matched the vibrant, red leaves on the trees and he felt it was quite a sight. Of course as a precaution he had his hammer with him- basically dragging it behind him, making a trail so he’d know where to go when he was done walking. The ginger might be combat smart, but when it came to directions he was rather foolish.
Soft hums left Burlesque- the tune of some old song he used to hear back before he started at Beacon. Something the old man who taught him many things sang when he was working on his weapons. But eventually his ear picked up on a twig snapping nearby, causing him to fall silent and glance around his existence. His brows rose as blue hues locked onto another figure standing a little less than four meters away. The student brought his hammer up so it stood right next to him, resting his palm on the end of the handle. He scanned over the person, noting aspects of them that he felt a sense of familiarity to.
The weed dropped from his fingers and he leaned over to pick a fresh one, squinting as his brain tossed and turned for an answer. The dark hair that was tied towards the end, shredded cape, and the images that flashed through his mind of the girl slowly brought back memories. He hadn’t heard from her since the day she left for Mistral and he just assumed she didn’t want to come back to Vale. But he seemed to think wrong.
“ Ain’t you’uh sight f’er sore eyes, lil’ lady. “
