Rules: Pick or create 3 sims, and a 10 colour palette (you can use mine or pick your own). For each of the colours in your palette, create a lookbook with all three sims wearing different outfits planned around that day’s colour!

I see 4 sets of eyes, so let’s do 4!

1. Super short-term spoiler- but the story Violet is telling is based off of a story in her mom’s journal. Is it factual? To a 9ish year old it is (ages are the worst in sim storytelling). So, it’s really Violet’s own embellishment of what her mother wrote. Later, much later- we’ll come back to this story as it actually was and I’m really hoping I can do what I have in my mind justice. There’s always a sliver of truth in there, somewhere. 

2. Speaking of up next (these were some test shots, but the vibes are still on point)

3. Gen 1 will have adjusted rules. Peony won’t be in law enforcement, but she is studying law- so she’ll be taking the route of being a lawyer. I like this better, and I see her using her law degree to help people and support people. At the end of the day, Peony is probably the kindest, just good character I’ve ever made. Bonus: Gen 1 will also only have 3 kiddos, and 2 fur-babies. I cannot do 5 kids.

4. Gen 2 will still have a camp arch. I’ve been toying with this too- and I think it’s going to be even different than what I first thought it would be when I first started rethinking this telling. Basically, Violet’s arch is summer AFTER HS --> into first year of college, maybe some flash-forward bits, but it’s all pretty rapid fire. This time around, she will be a camp counselor. Her other camp counselor will be a friend, but probably not 🍀.

Rina seems to be feeling slightly overwhelmed, having so many different sims to talk to. It’s almost like she doesn’t have enough time. But that’s what the first night is about--first impressions.
