The Chinese Arrived on the west coast of the us between the 1850s and 1860s which was the very late wild west when the railroads started to come in, these china men were put to work on the railroads and while doing this dangerous work a lot of men died from literally being worked to death and as the railroads were nearing completion a lot of wealthy men took the china men as slaves and made them work in their basements.
After the railroads were completed the Chinese decided to stick together and form china towns, because they were not given the same rights as the white man the police didn't go into these china towns so people were often murdered or stolen from and nothing was ever done about it
While this was going on white men were also kidnapping some of the china men and keeping them as slaves and forcing them to work for nothing but a little food.
