2015 Lotus Award

Was a nice surprise to come home after the holidays with this in the mail:) Thanks to the folks at Karacters Design / DDB Canada who submitted the work we did together for Canadian Pacific. For those who are not aware, Lotus Awards have been recognizing and celebrating creativity in British Columbia since 1989. What if?

“What if we cared about those living in poverty as much as we care about celebrities?"

A poignant question posed by DDB Canada's ad campaign for Woodgreen Community Services. Placed in Toronoto's subway, these thought-provoking ads might have caused a few commuters miss their train as they pondered an answer.

Great work for a good cause needs to grab attention and pull at heart strings. DDB Canada, you're 2/2.

Now only if we could give as much attention to these issues as we give to the celebrities struggling to decide what color to paint their limited edition Bugati sports car.
