did Tyler P (how confusing that must have been on set, w 2 Tyler's) ever say why he said Sterek is a ’bizarre, weird, twisted thing’? was it homophobia, sour grapes, or the reasonable (in REAL LIFE, which Teen Wolf IS NOT) concept that a grown ass man should not be in a relationship w a high-schooler?

What he said was “I think that Sterek is a bizarre, weird, twisted thing. And I think that anyone who pays more attention to Sterek than the show isn't watching the show for the right reasons." and that, along with the whole 'joking about coming out' thing he did has lead a lot of us to believe it was homophopia and a bitch about not being the center of attention- which he's done countless times.

Also (im not watching the interview again because angry reasons) I'm pretty sure the question about Sterek wasn't even directed at him. It was directed at Hoechlin and Posey was being the bitch baby that he always is and jumped in with his unsolicited opinion after he already got to talk about Scott's love interests in a previous question.

Teen Wolf was a bunch of attractive men running around shirtless and a bunch of women being killed off for no reason. It didn't really have any other reason to watch it. Don't get me wrong, the characters are amazing and they had the foundation for a great story, but they never even attempted to reach for that potential.

iirc Dylan at one point said that he was intentionally trying to portray Stiles as bi (but then Jeff Davis didn't capitalize on that OF COURSE) and Tyler H and Dylan used to really lean into it outside of the show. I'm p sure the rest of the cast also thought it was pretty great so I think if they'd been allowed they'd have gone for it.
