Baking club had a much needed redraw lmao
These are various characters I have for my DDLC MORE CLUBS mod! I think I have about 3 more left to finish up-? It'll take a little bit but I'll make it there soon!
After these are all done I get to work on their full body sketches and start coding. I'm so excited!!!
(yes I did put this on my TikTok too, if you saw it then yayyyy!)
So I decided on all the clubs I'm certain I plan to add, along with a few I may debate on making a reference to in some way
For the sake of not taking alot of room, it's all gonna be under the cut for those interested 🙏
Clubs that I'm 95% sure I'm gonna fully do:
• Swim Club - 5 members
• Sports Club - 5 Members
• Music club - 5 members
• Gaming club - 4 members
• Theater club - 7 members
• Book club - 4 members
• Baking club - 4 members, 2 guests
• Art club - 4 members
• Anime club - 4 members
• Sewing club - 4 members
I wanted to make smaller clubs the player could take a sneak peek at- But I'm unsure. I didn't wanna make things more complicated than they already were- So I think I'm keeping these as just refs in game 🤔
• Paranormal club
• RPG club
• Medicine history club (this is a club that one of the baking club guest members are part of- Hence the reference)
• Martial arts club (this was an idea for one fo the main clubs which I ultimately scrapped. I still have their concept designs-)
I've been so excited for this!! But also terrified knowing how painful coding it all is gonna be- I took a programming and computer science class before- Both of wich had alot of coding involved- Its alot of fun but takes genuine ages qwq
Even then- I think what may actually take the longest would be the art... In total I'm adding 48 new characters wich require proper art for each- If I were to dare add alternate poses for each one that would lead to around 96 pieces... I don't even want to talk about the challenge of making the needed backgrounds- I'm cooked 😭🙏
Anywho- My plan for each of the main clubs was to focus on different horror aspects... Similar to how DDLC focused on alot more heavy topics regarding mental health and safety for each of the girls, how it affected them, and just how serious it can genuinely be if not handled right. For some, I wanted to dive a bit down into concepts leaned towards envy, sibling issues, toxic friends and relationships, self sabotaging, narcissism and more. Understanding this may be more sensitive for some- I want to put some of those concept warnings where I can just in case... qwq
I'm not sure what else to specifically rant on... I'm not sure what kinds of things people may be interested in with this and I don't wanna give too many accidental story spoilers 🤔
I expect this to take a long while to get out... Give it a good 2-5 years possibly if not more. This is a very big passion project for a game I adore greatly, and aside from getting my family to help me double check the story, I'm doing it all alone. It does not help that I'm in school too qwq
Is this a stupid idea in my end- Yes- Possibly gonna cringe at it when I'm old and wrinkly. But I think (and hope-) that it's gonna be fun! So it makes it worth it in the end! >:]

Writing the story and lore for my DDLC mod actually makes me sad sometimes cause like I be makin a character, their personality, fears, hopes and everything else and on the side I got how they're gonna go 😭
None of the drama/theater club chatacter endings are happy in the slightest, like my brain just said let em rip!
On the bright side some of em have connections/beef with the original Dokis! Yayyyy... yayy...
