TikTok - Make Your Day
There's a guy who makes tiktoks sitting in his car, talking to the camera giving advice/making observations, and he went fairly viral recently and I just had to block. The video that went viral that I had tons of friends and moots reposting was seemingly fine advice about picking the man you want to spend your life with ("because he'll be the person to guide you through the death of your parents"), but very quickly slid into misogyny. "You're out here picking based on who you think looks hot in a backwards hat." These are incel talking points!!
"Start being serious. Start figuring out what really matters in life. Be picky, but about the right things. Not about how he dresses or how nice his forearms are." Please, tell me more about how nice guys finish last.
"A man is nothing without his bipolar girlfriend" has 3M views (he's just describing Katy Perry Hot and Cold level mood swings in a girl).
"My girlfriend told me to get more in touch with my feminine side. So I crashed the car and then ignored her all day for no reason."
And a lot of his content is just reading text posts and then rambling about them for 1:01 so that the video can be monetized.
I know there's plenty of this content out there, but the fact that people I know/like/trust are buying it? Is this your king?? I'm losing my goddamn mind!!!!
