As someone who has spend thousands of years locked away in their own eternal darkness I gotta say Midnight doesn’t have a whole lot of experience with discovering what he actually likes in life, but these are some things I imagine them doing once he gets to reintegrate with his fam a bit and their evilness starts to become less,,, prominent as he discovers there’s things in this world they’ll stick around for...
- EMO MUSIC he’s just baffled at first that there are people, humans no less, who can relate to how they’re feeling, and they find the experience of having their feelings sung by someone else back to him quite therapeutic.
- Fluffy blankets
- Hot chocolate with mini marshmellows
- Galaxy themed objects
- Going outside when it’s raining
- Sitting around a campfire
- Fried, crunchy food
- Holding a bunny (pretty sure he’d adopt one and call it Sir Eternal Revenge of the Darkness junior or something, but April convinces them to name it Gnaw instead)
Peach: Where is your OC’s favourite place to relax or calm down? Recount a story of their time spent in this place! What makes it so special to them?
Well they think it’s the basement were his siblings kept them for a little while while trying to figure out what to do with them, as it kinda resembles the dark place were he was held for most of his life, but that’s just what they’re used to. It isn’t untill November traps them in a blanket in the middle of a tantrum because she’s just so done with his shit and drags them outside to sit them down besides the lake that he notices that feels... different from being in an uncomfortable but familiar environment. November might be the only one of his siblings who can both relate to how he’s feeling and be rational enough about it to come up with a solution. They both feel like an outsider to the rest of the family, and struggle with handling the loud, intense, sometimes obnoxious asses of their siblings, but November has perfected her coping mechanisms and as a very rational person she can recognise this is what Midnight needs right now. After this Midnight comes here a lot, it also brings some distance between them and the rest of the siblings, because honestly, it’s pretty weird to have the person who tried to kill all of you and may have permanently damaged your brother just living in the same room as you all the time...
