Wanna Build a Shed?
Find out how to build you’re very own storage shed in your yard for less than you might think!
Like you need to start with a foundation, but how do you do that?
Well, gravel shed foundations are often recommended because they provide a stable base for most types of shed to rest on. They also do a good job of draining water away from the base of the shed.
Gravel is relatively affordable and easy to lay when compared with other more durable shed foundations, such as concrete.
Putting a shed directly onto gravel or concrete slab bases can trap an air pocket between the base of the shed and the ground. That can become moist and the moisture can condense on the wooden base of the shed. This poses a risk of the wood rotting from the bottom up.
