Since a few weeks I’m experimenting with DxO Optics Pro 9 Elite photo-processing software. It does not offer as many possibilities as Photoshop but it certainly has its significant pros. First of all a great complete tutorial and secondly the intuitive designed dashboard. Within a day you can execute ‘manipulations’ that took days/weeks to master on Photoshop. But than I’m an Alpha-person and never been good in Beta ;) .
In many things, such as straightening wide-angle shots, de-noising and sharpening, it outperforms Photoshop. It’s not to me to write a review but the software is a nice supplement to have. Anyway I re-did one of my selfies. The left one is the original Photoshop and the right image is done with DxO.
