Before anyone points it out, yes I know I drew Anakin's missing arm on the wrong side, I forgot to to flip the canvas. (٭°̧̧̧ω°̧̧̧٭)

ANYWAY....like I said before, if Anakin uses too much of his flame breath, he needs to eat so he can recover enough energy to turn back into human. This means every so often he goes hunting and the prey he bags is always enormous, so he likes to bring it back to share with the rest of his troops.

The clones LOVE it. They get to eat juicy steaks and kebabs instead of dry, crusty, ration bars, while Obi-Wan on the other hand is starting to miss the time when he thought the weirdest thing Anakin used to eat was bugs.

American Toad (Anaxyrus americanus)

Okay today's post is kind of gross and does feature a dead toad so I am going to put a break in or at least try to. Consider yourself warned if you don't like dead things

Allegheny National Forest - Pennsylvania - April 23rd 2024

The American Toad is found throughout the Eastern United States and Canada. These toads seem to actively avoid mating with siblings/kin despite returning to the pond/body of water they were born in to mate.

This specific today was found right next to my campsite and was honestly quite fascinating I could not tell how it died and it was honestly kind of hard to even realize what it was at first.

I have yet to identify the fly that is in its mouth, if you know what kind of fly that might be or think flies are cool that observation can be found here
