Ink's goal is similar to Cross' in Underverse: to collect the deceased (meant to be erased) souls from other AUs and move them to his abandoned one, where they could be considered alive (╹◡╹) So he arranges negotiations:
Dream is sentimental, simple-minded and naive — he easily agrees to the deal and let Ink take the souls of God-knows-how-many villagers of Dreamtale killed by his brother hundreds of years ago in order to help his new "friend" and "give them all a better life in another AU";
Error is thrifty and doubtful, he hesitates a lot and doesn't want to give up the stolen souls whom he holds hostage in the anti-void for God-knows-how-long. In the end, he agrees and gets rid of them, but not of his doubts;
Fell is a hot-tempered, boastful gambler and brawler: he haggles, tries to sell things instead, persuades Ink to play, cheats — and breaks the deal, leaving him with nothing (maybe it was his way to keep souls safe in his AU? ;w;);
Horror is rude, straightforward, but also cunning and calculating. He realizes the value of the dead monsters to Ink (and even speaks of them in the present tense), so he bargains for a long time before finally giving them away;
The last one visited by Ink before the collapse is stingy, petty and vile, — the apogee of poverty, both external and internal. He's lost interest in life, lost many souls, even his one... He refuses Ink's offer, but then agrees for the sake of something new. The final dead from the inside soul in the empty AU may be either Killer, Murder, or Cross.
