Extending the deadline
Shesasurvivor and I talked through extending the deadline this week. I think we're going to do it. Things this week have been challenging in so many ways and it seems like there's never enough time to get everything done.

Handerslympics Deadline Announcement
Hello writers,
We're approaching the end of the writing week -- how are you all feeling? Accomplished? Ready to show your works to the world? Or pressed and harried, wishing for more time?
If you're feeling like you need more time, good news -- the deadline for the Handers Olympics contest has been extended! The first posting date has been moved from the 21st to the 28th, and will be continuing through the end of that week to June 3rd.
Hopefully this will help! As a reminder, if you're feeling stuck on your fic or can't get an idea off the ground, the Coach's Lounge channel in the Discord chat is there for you to get brainstorming help and advice from our friendly coaches!
Please stop by the Discord chat tonight to check in, to see how you're doing and also to discuss what posting dates might be best for you. If there's a day you'll be busy or unavailable, or need to post earlier or later in the week, let us know so the schedule can be set in a way that best accommodates everyone!
Checking in with you on #4 & Submission extension
This month has proven to be both busy and somewhat arduous. As a result, our hoped-for release time has come and gone a few times over.
Right now I can't give any solid projections on when Issue 4 will be released, only that it will be done. One of the goals of the project was to release on a monthly basis, hopefully with some measure of regularity in terms of actual release times, but ultimately it is a project that's dependent on the time & energy of the participants.
With that said, it seems only fair to extend the submission window for Issue 5 out further, in order to create a buffer between issues that allows everyone some breathing room.
Submissions for Issue #5 - creative prompt: transition - will be open through October 25th.
This should provide people ample time to read issue 4, find or create something to submit, and for us to edit & compile the submissions. (This also means the projected release of issue 5 is late October/early November.)
The dedicated effort of everyone involved with this project, from editing, to submitting, to reading and sharing, is all deeply appreciated. I hope to keep doing great things with all of you.
