How's it going, cats and kittens?
There's so much cool instrumentation in this soundtrack--we've got a full horn section mashed with a full rock section, as well as a banjo?! There are great colors going on here, and the mixing is great too. The banjo is firmly placed on the left ear, while the rock group is front and center, and the horns are slightly aimed toward the right. It makes the sound really surround you! The hits are fantastic, and each section supports each other. Put all together, and we have a hard hitting pseudo surfer rock anthem to go along with a colorful villain cast. I think it fits the cartoon-y vibe of it all--all very vaudeville and campy, if you will. So many climbing lines...just really well put together and full!
