@deadlyundead    You would think death would bring a family closer. Everyone would put away their selfishness to help emotionally support one another. But that was not something the Bellefleur family did. At least, not Rose’s parents. She felt a wave of shame wash over her as they stood in that funeral parlor in front of the mysterious long haired male, bickering over what her grandparents should wear. Why couldn’t they have done all of this privately?

      “I’m sorry..” She says in a low and soft voice so only he could hear her. “I am sorry they are acting like this.. they’re just..” She trails off, not knowing exactly what excuse to use to make her parents not seem so uncivilized until finally, something came to mind, “Overwhelmed..”

His new body was... nice. Despite the changes, he could have sworn he was at least a little taller than he used to be, and the thicker skin allowed him to feel less pain (which was a good thing, considering how many times he’d fallen while trying to get his new self to cooperate.) Besides, it’d given him a chance to trade someone that didn’t seem to care, for someone that actually had a sense of humor, and knew what it meant to have fun.

The blond made his way to the door with a slight stumble to his steps -- that was his own fault for trying to run rather than walking. Pushing it open, Alois leaned inside before continuing a bit further. “I’m finished cleaning up,” he exhaled, allowing deep red eyes to sweep the room. It was a small price to pay if he wanted to get out and do something. “When do I get to see everyone again?”

Textbook cradled carefully against his chest, Joanne lifted a hand and knocked a few times on his science teacher’s door before pushing it open just enough to peek inside. “Professor? Are you in? I was hoping to ask you a few questions about today’s lesson and assignment if you’re not busy.”  

If he were honest with himself, he rather hoped he didn’t get a response. As far as he knew, the man was a new teacher who had been approved and employed by the Headmaster of Weston College, but beyond that, his new teacher had seemed a little odd somehow during class—perhaps even eccentric. With scientific advances happening on a regular basis, not everything new to learn had been properly printed and compiled into a book yet, which left the poor blond lacking the help of his usual favorite resource for knowledge. In this case, that meant he was left to ask his teacher for explanations and hope for the best.

If his professor wasn’t around, though, the questions could wait. Joanne was in no hurry to spend time with a man who made him feel uneasy just by being in the same room.
