Do you think you can tell me about Nyssa? All i can really find out about her is kind of vague. All that I know is that she's pretty crazy and russian, but that's about it. (Or at least could you direct me to a website that has good information on her)
NYSSSAAAAA.
Yeah, there’s not a lot of content on her because she was really in comics rather briefly in any major way. She was the primary antagonist in Death and the Maidens by Greg Rucka (and this is also her only major appearance) and a few issues of Batgirl (with Cassie).
She was killed off (confirmed by Rucka) via car bomb because of an editorial mandate, essentially. A shame, as Rucka had plans for her. Of course, now we see her being revived in Arrow, so there may be a chance of her return in comics.
But that doesn’t tell you all that much. This is by memory, so deets may be a little off.
Cliffnotes: Talia’s half-sister, was super crazy loyal to Ra’s for years and years, but he eventually abandoned her and she felt betrayed. Had her own Lazarus Pit and it was also the only one that could be re-used (lore switches around, but the Pits are considered one-and-done). She decided to get revenge on Ra’s by kidnapping, torturing, murdering (a lot) and brainwashing Talia. So she gets Talia’s loyalty and gets her to try to kill Ra’s (Ra’s kills Talia). Then Ra’s is killed and Nyssa takes over as Demon’s Head.
Talia is resurrected and, loyal to Nyssa, works with her until her off-screen death.
My friend is a big Nyssa fan and has written a lot about her, and has quite a few panels and meta you can glean more information from.
