What is a secret they’ll take to their deathbed?
Do they hate anyone?
DARKER MUSE Q’s
15. What is a secret they’ll take to their death bed?
Probably would have to be some of the atrocities he’s committed while treading through life in his time as a outlaw; in some cases he had no choice, but he still beats himself up over it knowing it went heavily against his own moral code. He’s no stranger to death or murder, and he’s taken many heads for bounty. Back then, it was much easier to detach himself from the situation, especially with Darlene’s assurances but it’s something that eats away at him when he sits with his thoughts for too long. A particular incident involved killing a man who admittedly wasn’t the best and had done some awful things. As a result, the man had earned a quite valuable bounty on his head—even still, killing a man point blank in front of his wife and children was not at all on Butch’s 1885 bingo card and boy did he flee after getting a good look at their horrified blood splattered faces.
23. Do they hate anyone?
Contrary to popular belief, it’s very hard for Butch to hate someone. While he often loses his temper or may dislike someone strongly for their actions/how they treat him, once he’s processed those feelings, it’s usually water off of a ducks back. That isn’t to say there aren’t a few he hates.
@bloodlustiing’s Ares is one such person he hates with every ounce of his being, probably the highest on his list by a landslide, if only because he’s done unspeakable things to someone Butch loves with his whole heart. Do what you want to Butch but if you mess with someone he cares about? That’s a sure fire way to garner his absolute hatred.
Another person he hates has to be @deadmcnwalks ’ Shadow; another being who’s violently harassed a few folks he happens to care for.
@foxedthecards’ Mr. Fox is definitely toeing the line between annoyance and hatred as he’s essentially possessing the body of a close friend (something Butch feels is a choice and perceives such as taking advantage of Jonas). not to mention, what all he’s done to Butch so far. The fact that Mr. Fox gets on perfectly with those close to Butch but shows disdain for him for what he deems is no reason is also another thing that irks him strongly, and certainly doesn’t remedy his grievances with the spirit.
There are a couple of foes from his past he has similar negative feelings for but most of their actions were taken out on him rather than his parter at the time and for that reason, any grudge he may hold isn’t all that extreme, even if the things they’ve done to him are far less than savory.
