The embalmer had been very kind to Tort, not that he had ever been anything but kind since the first time they had met. Still, it was a welcome gesture, him making her dinner to keep her company, knowing her family had been away for some time. Looking down at the meal, smiling brightly, she reached over and took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. 

“This is all too much, Tyr,” she said, releasing his hand and sitting down, shaking her head in wonder. “How is it you’re not married?”

Sunshine and Picnics [Tyr, Tort]

It was a spur of the moment decision, but overall Tortulja thought it was a good idea. After having spoke with Bart about Tyr and his habits, Tort thought it appropriate the priest had time outside of the Hall.

Emphasis on outside the Hall.

With a bit of determination, Tortulja managed to gather a decent amount of food - a few sandwiches, some fruit, and a couple drinks - as well as a sheet to sit on and a good idea as to where the two could go.

After setting everything by the door outside, Tort peeked into the preparation room where Tyr was and cleared her throat.

"Tyr?" she called, somehow managing to keep her face slightly neutral. "Would you come help me with something outside, please? I'll be right out the door."

Bart paused, glancing over at the Breton before uncomfortably clearing his throat and looking back at the table. 

"Well, you don't have to eat here..." he began, moving to stack the plates atop one another. "I had just made enough for more than just Tyr and I."

"My job?" Bart replied, turning towards the Breton, armful of flowers still in his grasp. He frowned slightly. "Well, not exactly my job, but Tort thinks it makes the graves look nicer and for some reason Tyr agrees."
