ok so here’s a funny little riddle for you…uhhh…what if…I accidentally cut off my finger and just HYPOTHETICALLY if I lost track of it when delivering the food to the window would you be mad?

“Would I be…” He breathes out in an unnerving tone of incredulous disbelief.

A shadow covers the top half of his face, the only visible thing being the intensity of that hostile gaze.

A sudden CRACK! Echoed through the air.

“Don’t ask me such moronic questions! You are incompetent, you don’t even deserve to BE here. And now I’M left to clean up YOUR mess. If you can’t even use simple cutlery you don’t deserve to even be here.”

“… Now I must go out there and defend my reputation because of the actions of your insolent, incapable hands. And if you are still here- no. If you are still here and any more of you decide to test my patience, there will be consequences.”

He turned on his heel and left the kitchen to go find said dish. He seems… angry.

He gruffed out in his usual monotone but slightly irritated voice, he looked maybe slightly irritated but who’s to say why?

“Your personal matters are- …unimportant to me.”

He said looking off to the side, moving one hand to his hip before sighing and dismissing the other with a shooing motion.

“Now get out of the kitchen Rody, you’re going to distract the cooks.”

He pauses as one of the cooks hand him an envelope, oh? Another letter from the anons. He opens it and reads it, going silent for a long while. Really, this is what they are going to waste his time with? He has a bistro to run.

“….”

He looks away and soon a mocking smirk began playing on his lips,

“pass.”

He responds simply and tosses the letter in the trash.

He looked at the letter before sighing, keeping his voice quiet enough so nobody around would hear. He knew he didn’t have to even talk in a legible manner for these ‘askers’ to be able to hear him, or so he had deduced.

“When I was younger. I put just about anything in my mouth. Dirt, worms, even rocks.”

He trailed off, as he stood in the corner of the kitchen watching over the cooks to make sure they were doing their jobs right.

“...I’d always wanted to find new tastes. I stopped that odd habit shortly after I lost my sense of taste, it was just a bunch of disgusting, tasteless textures by then.”

chef it’s pride month, you know what that means

“...No? You want me to make a....themed menu? .....I don’t get it- But on a serious note, what is that?”

he raised a brow at the other, he’s never heard of a Pride month before. He looked at his snapped cigarette in his fingers and sighed, rubbing it out in the ashtray.

“What a waste of a good cigarette, I suppose this means my break is over.”

He exhaled as he forced himself up from his chair, fixing his uniform before leaving his office.
