Heres context: Will and Mike get engaged at 43 after gay marriage is legalized.
Will: god… if you told 16 year old me that I’d be engaged, ESPECIALLY to you, I’d think you’re crazy. I used to always think I’d just be single forever.
Mike with a shocked tone: what??? No??? You’re a catch! I’m lucky I snatched you up or else I’d be the one who’s single forever.
Will smiling and shaking his head: you’re ridiculous.
Mike: you think I’m joking but theres no chance I would have been able to date anyone else while still being utterly in love with you. It doesn’t matter anyway, soon we’ll be Mr and Mr Wheeler.
Will sitting up with a grossed look on his face: what??? No. Ew. No.
Mike: already backing out? Damn it’s only been like 3 hours and i somehow messed this up.
Will: no! God, I love you Mike, i want to be with you forever. It’s just that theres no chance I’m taking your last name.

Will: i think it’s the repeat of sounds? Like both having W and L? It just- it sounds wrong.
Mike sighing: well… i’m not being Byers.
Will giggling: i don’t know what could possibly be so weird about that.
Mike: you know EXACTLY what name it sounds like.
Will laughing: it’s not THAT bad.
Mike: i don’t want to be attributed to Michael Myers for the rest of my life.
Will finishes laughing: we could both have both names?
Mike: Wheeler-Byers? Byers-Wheeler? I don’t know, sounds kinda wordy to me.
Will: yeah…
Will after a moment of them thinking: oh! What about like… By- hmm.. Byler? Like mixing them?
Mike: oh. I like that. Though i really only get one letter in it.
Will: what do you mean? I have B Y and you have L E R.
Mike: yeah but you also technically have E R, So i only have L.
Will: by that logic i only have B Y, thats only 1 more letter than you.
Mike: two times as much really.
Will: Mike. Do you like the name or not?
