I’ve been having a great time with fellow creative artists here in DC at an airbnb we rented to just create with one another. We came up with the hashtag - #deafartistsplayground to combine all our posts in one place. We do not intend for it to be exclusive - if you are deaf and an artist, please use it to motivate you to join us someday or even better get a group of artists together on a “playground”. I love the concept of our community in a whole embracing opportunity when it strikes, if it doesn’t - MAKE opportunity happen. Connect whenever you can. I’m so fortunate my huge platform affords me the privilege of connecting with deaf artists in various areas of the world. It’s not easy for everyone and I’m aware, so once again - be inspired to create wherever you are and introduce me to new faces. I enjoy that so much, and I know the others included do too.
