Hearing him crunching on his vegs is so relaxing! We think Protein has a bad hearing or even deaf. For one, he is super smart but doesn't respond to treat bag noise or loud noises (loud trucks, doorbell, music, etc). We startled him couple times when he was in his litter box and didn't see us coming, but we definitely made noises. It explains why he's super comfortable napping and he likes high place so he can see everything? It doesn't matter if he's deaf, he is still an awesome bunbun.
