Cold November || Dean + Eleanor
The golden evening sun shone through the trees, and Eleanor went about tucking her leggings into her socks, ticks were not something she was fond of. Her thick dark, green sweater kept her warm, and she curled her hands into her sleeves as she lent back against her cruiser, arms wrapped around herself in a hug.She had a picnic basket waiting atop the trunk, full of apple fritters, a container of sweet potatoes, marshmallows and all, a thermos of apple cider, and two steak and mozzarella rolls. Her stomach growled at her, the thought of food awakening her hunger. She hadn't eaten since that morning, and she was starving. She simply hadn't had the time today. Too many errands had to be run. She was excited though. Eleanor was interested in Dean, he was quite charming, and it didn't hurt that he was awfully attractive. She had only just met him, but she liked to think they were on the way to becoming friends, plus he liked her food. Nothing made her happier than someone who enjoyed eating what she made. The leaves danced to the ground as the wind shook the tree branches, the cool November air prompting Eleanor to slip into her jacket and finger-less gloves. She was anticipating the night to be cold, so she had brought along a scarf and hat as well. The parking lot was otherwise empty, everyone in town probably sitting at home eating dinner, but then again it was usually empty. Eleanor assumed not many people in Beacon Hills enjoyed hiking. She never really saw anyone when she was walking the trails. She liked it that way though. The forest was a sanctuary for her. The smell, the sounds, the peacefulness. Everything about it calmed her. The sound of a car rumbling caught the blonde's attention, and she looked toward the entrance to the lot, a smiling stretching over her face when she saw a black, Chevy Impala pulling in.
