Rosea 9 - Rosa Mundi (June 21)

Rosa Mundi is the Summer Solstice in the Filianic calendar, and is apparently celebrated with big bonfires and roses. It appears to be one of the major holidays of the year. You can read about it on the Mother God website, here: http://www.mother-god.com/rosa-mundi.html

Volume 7 of The Coming Age mentions a picnic that was hosted to celebrate Rosa Mundi, way back in 1977.

The branch of Madriana that was popularized by Olga Lotar appears to have Rosa Mundi as a holiday that doesn't fall on a set day, but rather on the "first new or full moon of the month after 9 Rosea". The Eastminster Critical Edition has a lot to say about Rosa Mundi, but here is just a snippet:

The Digital Library For Filianic Studies has gone offline in the last couple years, but it has been archived on the Way Back Machine. However, navigating to the actual library is a bit difficult to do on the way back machine, so here's the link to that particular page. This page includes Rosa Madriana papers, my understanding is that Rose Madriana is an offshoot of Lux Madriana that broke off before the St. Bride's School and was lead by Madria Olga. There are also a number of papers from the Madrian Literature Circle, which was a mail-issued correspondence from 1973-1982 and includes a number of different topics from essays, to glossaries, to fiction. There are also several other catalogs of items which have since made their way to archive.org, such as The Coming Age, Romantia publications, and the Artemis zine. The handwritten articles include fully typed out texts, making them much easier to read. This was an invaluable resource at one (very recent) time for Filianists, and it's a shame that it only exists now on the Way Back Machine.

Women do not need to be iNcLuSiVe of anyone else. Get outta here with that bullshit. We do not need to be inclusive of men, inclusive of trans, etc. We do not need to be fair. We do not need to consider your feelings or see things from your point of view. Stop infringing on women’s spaces under the guise of inclusivity. Stop pretending like this focus on inclusivity is something other than what it really is: misogyny. Funny how it’s always women’s spaces (and also, black spaces) that are seen as ground zero for everyone to come and play. Funny how folks always want to live in biological women’s minds rent free.
