We are in the month of Brighe, bridging from Nativity and birth of the Daughter to Moura and Her taking on of descent and sacrifice.

From Luciad, where Her gentle light guides and stirs us into thoughts of spring, it is also when She commits to the descent.

So too should we begin to see the bridge between death and rebirth, preparing for restriction and reflection in the month of Moura.

Meditating and reflecting should be goals of ours, praying to Sai Brighe for guidance, and getting prepared for Moura.

Purification rituals for spiritual renewal I find very appropriate for this time of year, and I've been working on Filianist ones.

I urge fellow Filianists to meditate on this season, because beyond the darkness there is always Light.

Are there any Goddess Religions with Stoic rather then Platonist Metaphysics?

I ask this because the Deanism as expressed by Aristasia was definably more Platonist.

Are any Filianist/Madrian/Deanists willing to share how they came to/found that religion?

The religion my sisters and I practice is far closer to that than the mostly Wicca (and Wicca based) traditions that those we share a community with follow, and I know there is a greater call for these more devotional paths in those spaces. I’m hoping to develop a better understanding of the needs of devotional Goddess religion seekers and devotees, and I know the Filianist community has a lot of valuable perspectives on that.
