Dean wakes up after his hellhound attack expecting to find himself in a pit of fire, but instead finding himself in the arms of a surprisingly attractive blue-eyed stranger.

As amnesia fics go, this one is actually surprisingly not that heartbreaking. It's impossible to completely dull the edge of one-half of your OTP not remembering that the other exists, much less remembering that they love that other half, however, this fic takes that sadness and angsts and pairs it wonderfully with some humor and some fluff. The characterization is quite realistic, but I think the Destiel is to be commended most. It's difficult at best to build an emotional connection in a fic like this, but this author succeeded impressively, and the tenderness between the two (especially on Castiel's part) is both touching and lovely. Not too plotty but not pure schmoop, this fic was a wonderful balance between sadness and sweetness. Note/Warning: Amnesia!Dean in case you didn't already realize. This Moment Will Keep

Dean and Cas spend Christmas morning in bed.

This is pure, unadulterated fluff that's so sweet you'll need a dentist afterwards. That's not to say that's a bad thing; although there's not much to say here, because it's just a fluffy one-shot, the understanding between Castiel and Dean was sweet. Really cute, domestic scenarios added up to make an unbelievably adorable fic that was actually surprisingly realistic and in character.
