Chapter 12 is posted, my dudes! I now have as many chapters as Supernatural has seasons. ♡ Have some fluff with an extra helping of *Gay*.
A Ducifer headcanon dump because I’m drowning in the feels T^T
Lucifer developing a fascination with Dean’s freckles and tracing over them when their lying together, while he’s sated after sex, or when Dean’s asleep, so he can slowly and methodically count them. Dean doesn’t understand and he tries to question Lucifer about it, but Lucifer just shushes him and continues to trace his skin, until Dean let’s the gentle pattern of Lucifer’s fingers on him skin lull him to sleep. Since Lucifer is an archangel, he has infinite patience and doesn’t get tired. So far he’s in the low 1000’s.
Lucifer also developing a fascination with Dean’s hands, at all the scars and callouses on his hands, but also at the way they’re so firm and graceful and steady in everything he does, whether it’s to stitch his brother up after a really bad hunt, or if it’s cleaning his weapons. His favourite thing to is to watch Dean hands methodically unassemble and assemble his gun so that he can clean it.
Lucifer takes some kind of weird pleasure in watching Dean as he works in the kitchen. Dean actually doesn’t mind but sometimes he finds it creepy when he continues to watch him with that quiet intensity of his for long periods of time. When he finally snaps and asks him about it, Lucifer just shrugs. “I like watching you” Dean says nothing and goes back to work and Lucifer pretends that he doesn’t see the way the tips of Dean’s ears have gone red.
Lucifer being extremely protective of Dean to the point where it annoys him. As a hunter, Dean is used to taking risks…it’s what he’s done his whole life. Lucifer HATES this. If it were up to him, he’d have tied the hunter down and kept him by his side forever (and has even on occasion tried to sneakily put a binding spell on him, but that had led to no sex for a week when Dean find out, so he didn’t try that again). Dean’s too smart. If Lucifer had it his way, Dean would probably find himself locked away bound and naked in Lucifer’s bed in some faraway hidden place, for his eyes only. (And no, the idea doesn’t send a secret thrill down Dean’s spine at all). But Lucifer now knows that nothing can control this beautiful strong hunter and his strong sense of justice, so he has no option but to let him go. But he’ll never stop trying ways to make Dean stay.
When they’re lying together, Dean notices that Luifer’s hands like to wonder a lot. Particularly over his stomach and his chest, where his fingers trace warm patterns into his skin over and over again. At first Dean thinks it’s just random, but then he realises that he’s tracing patterns, his fingers running the same route over and over again. And at first Dean can’t figure it out but then later he realises that he’s tracing enochian protective sigils into his skin. Lucifer knows that he can’t protect Dean by keeping him with them so instead he marks the symbols into his human’s skin, so that everyone will know who the hunter belongs to. To Lucifer Morningstar. And if anyone tries to get in the way or harm his human, they know what they’re getting into.
Dean not understanding why Lucifer would ever be in love with him and Lucifer holds him down and gently tells him all the ways in why he’s so special and the reason he fell for him. Presses fierce kisses all over his body and he whispers into his skin all the reasons why he loves him. How Lucifer is in awe with how beautiful and brave and oh-so selfless Dean is. How he always puts everyone else before him. How beautiful and bright and pure his soul is.
Dean being really embarrassed and trying to hide his body from Lucifer, or covering his face with his hands, but Lucifer pulling them away and reverently worshipping and exploring every inch of his body
Dean crying when Lucifer says so because it’s the first time that he’s ever had someone focus that much attention on him and love him so completely despite all his flawss
Maybe they aren’t so bad after all
Pairing: Dean/Lucifer
Summary: Lucifer was trying to enjoy some time to himself, but Dean had decided to play his music.
Lucifer really didn’t like being in Castiel. His vessel was short, had horrible taste in clothing, the most annoying voice voice, and his personality. . . Jesus. It was almost impossible for him to keep in character without wanting to bang his head against the wall. Lucifer kept his cool, just long enough to get his bitch ass aunt out of this world or before he burns through whatever sucker his little brother convinced.
Believe it or not, he was having a peaceful moment with a beverage and a novel. Hey, even Satan needs a break from everything. Drinking some scotch, reading a laughable book. Enjoying himself for once. Or was until some loud rock music started blaring through the Bunker. Scowling, Lucifer set down his book and drink aside. Marching down the hallway with determination to put the eldest Winchester in his place. He pounded on the door. It wasn’t until after he was almost ready to smite the door was when he could hear something faintly over the hard rock.
He quietly opened the door and peered inside, Lucifer was more than surprised at what he saw.
There was Dean Winchester - the Righteous man, the guy who could kill a thousand demons to save his brother, the drunk that can shot straight even after fifty shots - dancing and jumping around on his bed. Grinning and laughing through lyrics, having a blast in general. All while that Lucifer was watching him, he couldn’t help admire. There was a man in the middle of a huge fight and here he was. Enjoying whatever time he had left.
Lucifer would deny this to anyone. This would be a secret he would be taking to his grave. But, as he watched Dean mess up the words and slur the chorus, Lucifer couldn’t help the warm feeling in his chest and smiling in the slightest. Maybe, the devil thought, they aren’t all so bad.
You are my Sunshine
Pairing: Dean/Lucifer
Summary: Lucifer and Dean had spent some time together in hell
You are my sunshine
“Okay, okay!” Dean squealed, laughing through tears. “Please stop!”
Lucifer grinned, his fingers retreating from Dean’s sides. His hands brought Dean against his chest, cuddling. That’s what they were “fighting” about. If you can even call it a fight. Dean argued and refused to cuddle with the devil because it was too much of a chick flick moment. But Lucifer proved to be difficult when he won the fight with tickling him.
He held Dean with his arms, squeezing him in a loving, comfortably way. He pressed a warm kiss to Dean’s head with a grin. “Told ya I get my way.”
“Shut up,” Dean muttered. He nuzzled Lucifer’s chest, going to take a nap.
My only sunshine
Lucifer often found himself staring at Dean. Whether he was sleeping, awake, eating. He could never get enough of the sight of Dean’s soul. So bright and pure, even after its time in hell, it looked untouched. Dean would always catch him and tell him to stop, Lucifer just smiled and gave him a kiss.
You make me happy when skies are gray
“How does paper beat rock?”
Dean rolled his eyes. “It just does, I didn’t make the rules so don’t ask me.”
“Alright,” Lucifer said, holding out a fist.
They spent the last half hour trying to play rock, paper, scissors. No matter what, Satan just didn’t get the rules. From if they went after scissors or shoot and confusing what beats what. But, secretly, Lucifer did this all on purpose. He enjoyed spending time with Dean. Enjoyed the feeling of having someone to teach him something. The game was simple enough but he played stupid.
You’ll never know dear, how much I love you
“What’s with the grumpy face?” Dean asked, holding Lucifer’s hand.
Lucifer looked at Dean, smiling sadly. “You won’t remember this.”
“What do you mean?”
“Never mind,” Lucifer sighed. He kissed Dean, deeply and desperately.
Please don’t take my sunshine away
He tried. God, did Lucifer try. Holding onto Dean’s soul like a lifeline. His heart had dropped when the sound of one of his brothers searching for the Righteous Man. Dean looked scared, surprised and disturbed at the noise and panic, and he too clung onto him. Everything shook as an angel found his beloved.
The angel grabbed Dean, pulling and tugging him out of Lucifer’s embrace. Tears slide down both their faces. When the angel made a hard yank, Dean screamed in pain.
Lucifer screamed and howl in rage. When he got the aggression out of his system, he curled up in his pitiful cage and sobbed.
Duel
Paring: Dean/Lucifer
Summary: Lucifer sticks to his word and Dean will always protect Sam
Warnings: Character Death and slight OOC
Ten to Twelve. Dean looked up from his whiskey that he had been drinking from a glass that was refilled more times then he could count. He needed it for what was going to happen. With doey eyes, Dean picked up the gun his father had left him after his death and inspected it. Sure enough, the gun worked well as it was first made, Dean filled the empty gun with bullets that he had no wants of using.
His brother, Sam, raised from the chair placed in the far corner of their home. The same sober look on his face. Following traditions, Dean give Sam his Will.
“You don’t have to do this, you can just yield,” Sam begged, hoping - praying that his brother would change his mind about the whole thing. He didn’t want to hold that Will, he didn’t want to know that his brother would . . .
“It’s too late,” Dean swallowed. “If I back out now, I’ll stain dad’s family name.”
“This isn’t about him, this is about me and Lucifer and the fact you can’t see me get insulted-”
“Sammy,” Dean cut him off, his green eyes piercing his little brothers. “After this is over, promise me you’ll stop beating around the bush and mary Jess.”
Sam chuckled sadly, giving his brother a small smile. “I promise.”
In a last goodbye, Sam hugged Dean. Usually, Dean wasn’t one for sappy moments but he had to give his Sam this, he had to have this. Sam hugged Dean tightly with tears finally falling. The same ache in each others hearts. Dean was the one to let go, he was always the one to do the first step, and patted Sam’s back. He wanted to say I’ll be back, wanted to say don’t worry, but that would all be lies and that was the last thing they needed.
Town square was full of people of all kinds. Fathers, mothers, kids, workers. All whispering and murmuring. Lucifer sneered at it all, these people were all leeches that cared about nothing but their well being and entertainment. Among the crowd was his older and younger brother. Michael and Gabriel had begged for him to apologize. But him being him, Lucifer refused. He stood to his words and wouldn’t do less.
Five to twelve was when Lucifer’s heart dropped. Instead of seeing Sam Winchester riding in town it was Dean Winchester riding his beloved horse; whom he was convinced loved it more then. The voices rose amongst the people because they knew about their love for each other.
“No,” Lucifer whispered.
His body went cold when Dean got off his horse and tied to a pole. Even at their distance, Lucifer could see Dean didn’t want to do this either. They walked to each other, each step felt heavy and more impossible than the last. When they were face to face, none of them knew how to speak, but who could?
“Hey,” Lucifer started.
“Hey,” Dean said back. His lips quivered in an attempt to smile, trying to somehow make this situation brighter.
Lucifer could see this and hugged Dean. Melting into his touch, Dean almost broke down right there, sobbing gently in his shoulder. Lucifer petted Dean’s hair, soothing him to somewhat. Each second that passed was a second closer to something neither of them wanted to do in any dream or reality.
“Please yield,” Lucifer begged quietly.
“Would you’ve asked my brother to yield?”
His grip tightened around Dean, should’ve known that he would take Sams fall. “Dean, please-”
“No,” Dean pulled himself out of Lucifer, not wanting to but having to. “I will not yield. I come in my brother’s place and I know he wouldn’t yield.”
Turning around, Dean started counting his paces, Lucifer sighed heavily and did the same. The town went dead quiet. On the twenty step they stopped. Everyone waited as the hand on the grand clock ticked away. Both men had their eyes closed, hands above their guns, but one of them had no intention of firing. As the old clock struck twelve, Dean and Lucifer spun around and both guns went off.
Noise ran out through and echoed everyone's breath stopped and caught in their throat.
Lucifer held his gun out, pointing at Dean. Dean held his gun up to the sky, a bullet in his side. Everything seemed to freeze. No one dared to move a step or say anything. Lucifer stood, wide eyed in horror, frozen in position. Dean didn’t even move. Until his body realize what happened and finally gave out.
As Dean fell to the ground, Lucifer discarded his gun and full on sprinted. Never had he regretted sticking to his morals.
“No, no, no, no, no, no!” Lucifer whispered. He dropped to Dean and held him in his arms and felt a warm liquid. Blood. That wasn’t supposed to be spilled . . . not his Dean. “He needs a doctor, please!”
Lucifer added pressure to Dean’s wound, smiling weakly. “It’s okay, Dean, you’re gonna be okay. We’re gonna laugh about this one day. You’ll see.” Holding Dean closer, tears fell at a rapid rate. “Please! Someone help!”
“What you asshats waiting for?!” Gabriel yelled, stepping in. “That man needs medical help!”
Scrambling around, the people buzzed a bit, a man in fine clothing rushed up. He dropped down to Dean. Looking at the wound, inspecting the damage created.
“I need you to get him to my office.”
Carefully picking him up, Lucifer carried Dean and followed the doctor. Everyone parted like the red sea as they hurried. Gabriel went with them, flipping anyone off who gave them looks. The two brothers waited outside as the doctor tried his best. Lucifer holding himself, shaking, wanting nothing more than to go back and fix his stupid mistake. Or at the very least Dean’s blood off him. Gabriel held his brother and comforted him, making little comments as how Dean wasn’t going down from a bullet. Lucifer’s mind was racing. Heart pounding and beating against his ribcage, his chest shuddering up and down. After what seemed to be a century later, the doctor came out.
Lucifer jumped out of his brothers arms and rushed up. “Is he okay? Please, is Dean going to alright?”
“No.”
Tears and mouth falling, Lucifer was too stunned to speak. Too scared and shocked to do anything.
The doctor looked at him with pitiful eyes. “You should say goodbye, he has a few moments before . . .”
Lucifer passed past the doctor. Gabriel didn’t follow because he knew that Lucifer needed this closure.
Dean looked nothing like how Lucifer was used to. His face was tired and outlined in pain, body limp but somehow shuddering, and precious blood spilling all over the wooden table. The wound was covered with thick bondages that were soaked in a red substance. Dean seemed to see him as soon as he entered.
“Oh Dean,” Lucifer gasped.
“Luci . . .” Dean whispered. Even in pain, he pulled a small smile. “I don’t have . . . much time, don’t I?”
Not saying anything, not wanting to admit it, Lucifer merely walked over to Dean and took his hand. It was cold. Too cold, even with all the blood. He knew what that meant. Lucifer held onto tighter as if he could pull Dean’s life back into his body. Dean held on faintly.
“I’m scared,” Dean whispered like a kid. Too innocent.
Lucifer choked on his breathing, only offering comfort to Dean as he held on tighter.
Blood painted his pale face. Dean’s chest slowed down, his eyes rapidly blinking. “I love you.”
“I know, I know. I’m so sorry,” Lucifer spoke gently, kissing Dean; not minding the blood rubbing off onto him. “I love you so much, Dean. Please, you have to know . . . I’m so sorry! Please . . .”
Dean swallowed down shallow breaths. A ghost of smile gracing his face. “Not your fault. I love you too much . . . to blame . . .”
Lucifer shaked violently. He waited for the last words to leave Dean’s mouth but nothing came out, his chest stopped moving. Grief tightened around Lucifer’s throat. He struggled to breath as he kept holding Dean’s lifeless hand.
Outside, the whole town heard deafening screams and broken sobbing.
Part two of the office au maybe he goes and visit Deanna at her house on the company's day off and she assumes that she's going to lose her job, but Lucifer assures her that she isn't going to lose her job. He came over to tell her that he knew about the debts and that he paid them off. She asked why and he simply said that she said that he gotta try harder
*kicks open a door* GUESS WHO THE FUCK IS BACK AND WRITING?! Me bitches, I know none of you probably missed but oh well you’re stuck with me. So, I was going through my asks and I saw this one and was like “yo, i didn’t do this? what the f is wrong with me?”. Here it is! You might want to read the first.
Deanna sipped her tea, smiling a bit as it washed down the after taste of the horrible orange juice. But it struggled to stay on as she shuffled through the bills. It helped that Sam lived with her, helping out with bills and food, but it turned out that Sam also had dreams too and she didn’t blame him. Who would want to get stuck with a single mom with no future? She sighed heavily, placing down her mug and dropping the stack of papers.
“Crummy way to spend a day off,” Deanna huffed.
Her hand brushed through her dirty blonde rats nest. She wasn’t really one for appearance, only for work she kept it in a neat braid of ponytail, at home she left it as a mess.
The only plans she had was reading pregnancy books, eating, and watching Netflix. It was put on a hold when there was a knock at her door.
Groaning, Deanna got up. “One moment.” She called out and walked up to her apartment door. Looking through the peep hall, Deanna felt her mouth go dry as she saw her boss. The blonde threw it open and nervously smiled. “Hello sir, what brings you here?”
Lucifer smiled back. “Hello Deanna, please don’t call me sir. May I come in?”
“Of course,” Deanna stepped aside. A heavy feeling in her gut made her almost want to hurl. Almost. She did enough of that in the morning.
He stepped in her apartment and took a a look around. It wasn’t all that bad, but not for a child. It was small and in pretty bad condition. Lucifer held back a chuckle as he saw the stacks of pregnancy books and baby names. What didn’t settle well with him was bills sitting on the coffee table.
“Uh,” Deanna cleared her throat, “do you want some tea?”
“I would love some,” Lucifer said, taking the offer.
She smiled brightly before scurrying to her kitchen. Lucifer took it upon himself to look around. Walking, he saw photos in frames of various people in different scenes. One of the photos caught his eye. A father and two children were on a boat, floating in a lake most likely. The dad wore a proud smile, one that he could see wasn’t posed, and in his arms were two children. The one on the right was a small boy wearing a bright orange life jacket, brown hair sprouted from his head and was unkempt. The one on the left was of a blonde girl, beaming, as she wore the same jacket and held up a fish. Lucifer smiled at it. It must’ve been Deanna and her family.
“Here!” Deanna cried, rushing in with a hot mug. “It’s Jasmine. It’s the only thing I got cause I’m more of a booze person, my brother got for me and I can’t really be pickey-”
“It’s fine,” Lucifer reassured. He took the mug from her hand and took a sip. The hot drink brunt his tongue a bit but he didn’t let it show. He smiled gratefully.
Deanna swallowed thickly. “So, what brings you here?”
“I thought it would be a good idea to tell you that your late husbands debts have been paid off.”
“Wha …” Deanna’s mouth hung open. She blinked once and twice before composing herself. “How did you know?”
Lucifer chuckled nervously. “I don’t mean to sound like a snoop, but I read about it online. If I may ask, but how did your late husband get into so much debt?”
“Castiel … he bite off more then he could chew,” Deanna breathed heavily, looking down. Her hands fidgeted together, slim fingers brushing over the spot where a wedding ring use to sit. “He had big dreams of owning a bookstore. Working overtime at his job didn’t get enough for buying a studio, let alone a corner store. So, Castiel started pulling strings that he should’ve left alone. I don’t blame him,” Deanna spoke quietly. She looked up, tears brimming her eye lids giving her green eyes a sad shine. “He didn’t even know about the baby before the accident …”
Before she could even sniffle, Lucifer was already hugging her. Giving her the comfort she needed back then. Deanna buried her face in Lucifer’s shoulder, tears rolling out as she clung to him like a baby. Lucifer simply said nothing back rocked her bit as he petted her uncombed hair. She felt heat raise on her face as she quickly remembered that this was her boss.
“Why?” Deanna mummered.
“You told me to try harder.”
Deanna brusted out laughing. Her and her big mouth.
In the Snow
Pairing: Dean/Lucifer
Summary: Dean takes Lucifer out for a surprise
Lucifer wasn’t a morning person. He preferred to stay inside all day sleeping and snoozing away his life. His boyfriend was almost like him, but Dean had more energy that needed to be burned off. Lucifer hated those days when Dean would drag his ass out of the comfort of his bed and force him to take part in an activity.
It was one of those days.
Early December, snow had blanketed the town and all its Christmas decor, leaving everyone in a worry of blocked roads. He was in a deep sleep when he felt Dean’s hands shaking him.
Groaning, Lucifer smacked Dean with a pillow then rolled over.
Dean giggled, continuing his early morning rise. “Wake up! Come on, Luci.”
“Don’t call me Luci,” Lucifer mumbled. “What time is it?”
“Six.”
“Damn Dean, it’s too early for this bullshit,” he huffed, burying his head in a fluffy pillow.
The bed dipped as Dean laid beside his boyfriend. Smiling sweetly, Dean innocently kissed Lucifer’s face, as if he were connecting dots. Against his will, Lucifer turned his head and claimed Dean’s lips eagerly. Kissing slowly and tenderly, Lucifer soon saw the trap that Dean had cleverly placed. Dean kept moving back and back. Taunting Lucifer to follow with small flicks of his tongue across Lucifer’s lips.
Lucifer, despite himself, fell victim. “Not fair.”
“Life’s not fair,” Dean chuckled.
Pulling Lucifer up, Dean proceeded to kiss Lucifer until they were both sitting up. Lucifer tried to pull them back down but Dean was the one in control.
“Wakey, wakey,” Dean muttered on Lucifer’s lips. More like a command that needed to be followed.
“Fine,” Lucifer rolled his eyes, “I’ll get up you crazy.”
Dean giggled, tugging Lucifer off their bed. “That’s what I like to hear. Put your clothes on.”
“Sir, yes, sir.”
Go figure, Dean was already dressed and ready to go. He watched eagerly and impatiently as Lucifer dragged his pants on.
“Come on!” Dean whined.
Lucifer chuckled, putting a shirt on. “There. Done.”
“Finally.”
Dean grabbed Lucifer’s hand and pulled him through their house, careful not to run into anything. He lead them to the front where he excitedly throw Lucifer’s winter coat in his face. Dean hurriedly put his boots and coat on, waiting for Lucifer to do the same.
“Where’s the fire?” Lucifer muttered under his breath, strapping on his coat.
Rolling his eyes, Dean ignored the comment and then took Lucifer’s hand once again, dragging him outside.
Snow was falling, lightly and gently. Already, a pile grew on top of the couples heads. Dean jokingly ruffled Lucifer’s hair. Lucifer swatted Dean’s hand away and ducked his head, earning him a short laugh from Dean. The shorter blond continued to hold Lucifer’s hand and lead him where ever. The snow beneath their feet formed footprints as they walked down the snowy side walk. Hand in hand, they walked in poor light provided by street lights.
Lucifer soon found himself in the park. It had been decorated by towns community with green and red beads that dangled from bare tree branches, candy cane sticks that dug into the ground and were nearly buried in snow, and of course in the middle of it all was a Christmas tree in familiar ordainment's.
“Alright, I’ll bite, why did you bring me out here?” Lucifer asked.
Dean was still smiling, holding onto Lucifer. His smile was barely holding back what secret he was keeping, let alone the way his eyes shined, like if Lucifer was the last slice of pie.
“Well, I decided I should do this in a place where we can’t jump to sex.”
“What is going on in that little head of yours, Winchester?” Lucifer said, amusement lacing his words.
Grinning, Dean held something out. “I don’t know. Why don’t you guess Mr. Winchester.”
In the dim light, Lucifer could a ring laid out in Dean’s palm. It had a sliver base with gold spiraled around it like a candy cane. It almost looked as bright as the look in Dean’s eyes.
“I guess you better put that ring on my finger before I jump you and we lose it in the snow.”
