Dear aphobes: Lesbians are not your “gotcha.” You are not actually concerned about lesbians, you’re just using them as props for your agenda.

Dear aphobes: Lesbians are not your “gotcha.” You are not actually concerned about lesbians, you’re just using them as props for your agenda.
Dear aphobes: If you’re so concerned that a-spec people are “cishets pretending so that they can get it,” kick everyone out. A cishet can pretend to be any of your “real LGBT” identities. Why are we the only ones targeted?
Dear aphobes: I’ve known since I was sixteen that I was a-spec. I was given the “you’re too young to be anything.” When I asked if I was too young to be straight, she replied that, again, I was “too young to be anything.” A-spec people may not be “oppressed enough,” in your eyes, but we are still marginalized.
Dear aphobes, you are the reason why support for us has dwindled down to "aces are real". Which isnt bad, but its awful that thats the best we get sometimes.
Dear Aphobes, I came out almost 3 years ago. I thought that I wouldn't know any other ace people unless I went looking on the internet. I thought I was alone. Within a year, a friend of mine told me she was asexual as well. 3 of my friends identify as ace or aro on top of my other lgbt+ friends. So yeah, I'm looking forward to my next pride!
Dear aphobes, fuck you for belittling my friend and saying he is confused. Shut the fuck up, and pull yourself together, oh wait! you don’t have the strength to, cuz you are lousy little wimps ☺️
Dear aphobes, my boyfriend was a mess after we broke up. I told him I was aromantic, and he practically broke down. He asked if anything I ever did with him meant anything to me, and he went on and on about how bad it felt to not be loved back. Stop implying that aspec people are aspec just because they're unlovable, or ugly, or just can't find a partner in general.
Dear aphobes: shut up.
