((never officially said this, I guess, but both skwinky and i haven’t really had time for dearkarkat for a while now. thanks so much to everyone who enjoyed our blogging! it was a lot of fun to answer questions as Karkat. WELL THE THING ABOUT KANKRI IS he’s kind of - going to be triggered/think you’re pr69lematic no matter what kind of question you ask? So the question is, do you want to DEEPLY OFFEND HIM and send him on a long rant or see him be funny/throw him for a loop? And of course, the aim of the blog being to be helpful/amusing, the questions we can think of funny answers for are more likely to get responded to. :)

this doesn't come off as rude at all! :)

When an entry for dearKarkat is created, we collaborate on what we want written/drawn for it. Then skwinky has to draw it, and I have to write it. But both skwinky and I have been very busy these last six months, sadly! Both of us are full-time employed and have relatively lengthy commutes (1 hour+). In November I had to move out of my apartment and I'm still looking for a permanent living situation. And of course, we had holidays and friends and anime conventions and all sorts of fun things filling our time, so it's been pretty crazy!

In other words, we have absolutely not forgotten about dearKarkat, and were very recently discussing how to bring it back! We want to continue - we just need the time. Hopefully after Katsucon!
